We are hoping to go away for the last week in October and wondered what was still open then. I know a lot of places will be closing down at this time so if anyone could recommend a place that will still be fairly busy I would appreciate it. We aren't looking for anything really lively, just somewhere that we can go with our 2 young children and my parents.
Thanks Kedi
Generally the further south you go the better the weather should be. We've been to Crete at this time and also Samos but things are definately winding down by the end of Oct. Symi and Rhodes are worth considering but the children wont think a lot of beaches on Symi
been to both Chalkadiki and Kritty in october [2nd week of] in both things were starting to wind down, some shops/bars had closed BUT plenty were still open the weather was good for the time of year and we enjoyed it
