I managed to get quite a bit of summer stuff about 10 days ago - I am in Wirral.
Not sure what shops you have close by?
Matalan, Tesco, Peacocks, Good old Asda had summer stuff including maxis - I am 5ft 3 so have to be careful with length.
Hope you get something - don't forget to try online.

Yesterday did Peacocks, Matalan, Outfit, Next, H & M, TK Maxx and the Boundary retail outlet!!

Will be working near Merry Hill shopping centre tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to find something.

Thanks for the praise, really pleased with my weight loss and was really excited to shop for size 12 clothes once again!

Oh well, if I can't find anything new I'll have to go on a diet of fish & chips and curries for the next 3 weeks so I can fit into last years holiday clothes

I have heard of Merry Hill not sure where it is? - we have relatives in Bromsgrove.
I am a member of Slimming World and as you say it is lovely to get into smaller clothes - I am also a size 12 (although managed a size 10 dress from Asda)
What about Primark? Cheap and ok for the summer?

I spent all afternoon yesterday trying to find a swimming costume for my 6 year old daughter and there was just nothing. Eventually I found some in Primark but they didn't have her size.

As a last try I went into our local Fara kids shop and got her a gorgeous one from Gap for just £3 and she loved it.

It is really difficult to find summer things now, for goodness sake it is still august, I don't want to be thinking about winter clothes yet

I have had a bit of the same problem, I got some gear a few months ago, buy only got paid on friday, so had to get the last bikini in primark in manchester, they only had a size 10 in a bikini that I wanted no size 8s left at all, so had to buy the 10 its a little bit big, but it will do, they had tons of beach towels, but most stuff has gone, managed to get the beach dress I was after in river island last week, sold out online and in manchester stores, the last size 6 in altrincham..and got the last size 8 in a chain bikini in there also...but I have noticed no summer stuff in manchester for my mum in any shops all winter gear now.. could nt get summer long shorts for her in a size 6, she has left it too late, she is waiting til we get to spain on thurs...loads over there..try zara, they had loads of stuff on saturday got some gorge silver sandals for 9.99..in my size 3...really nice..

The House of Fraser Outlet store in Leicester (Highcross) was great for us...we went in April and it had all seasons of clothes.

My daughter works on a concessions departments in debenhams and her clothing allowance for autumn/winter came through over the weekend. All their winter wear is coming in as well.

Loads of summer clothes still at bargain prices in my local House of Fraser in Altrincham - Oasis, Warehouse, Coast, Miss Selfridge etc all 70% off- bought loads! Bought large 2 sub zero G suitcases from there too, BOGOF !!
Monsoon still have loads of summer stuff in the sales and New Look too.

yayyyy!! Got two lovely summer dresses from Jane Norman!!! Thank you slimming world!! Just used to walk past that window!! New Look still had a few items of summer clothes and a couple of cheapy shops in Merry Hill had loads of maxi dress - all colours but just all far too long. Oasis had a few summer clothes too.

Im done now hopefully - could do with an extra couple of swimming costumes for my little one. Will pop into the local boots. They normally do lovely kids clothes.

The sales are good if you can find the item you like in your size. Normally on the rack all I find is size 20 or 8!!!!

denny your correct rackhams altrincham had quite alot in the sales last wed, and monsoon also..i live near there also..

primark had loads of tat on saturday, i did spend an hour in there, and i wanted to scream it was that hammered...

Boots have just started a summer sale of bikinis, flip flops, beach bags etc all half price -they also do some lovely kiddies ones too

New Look still have stuff in (though we have a flagship store here) I got a gorgeous maxi dress (I am only 5ft)

New Look had summer stuff in full price and some summer sale stuff as well. Got some lovely strappy tops, crops and a dress in Bon Marche at the weekend - they do sell some granny stuff I'll admit but they have stuff for younger women too. I'm 41 and was really pleased with my purchases.

You need to look in River Island - all summer stock in sale has 25% extra off the price....

Also try Peacocks..... they have a teen range if you are tiny
