Im having a bit of a dilemma , My finace(sp) is making me feel bad about going to sharm with my friend in june.
We have always wanted to go to egypt visit the pyriamds and temples of karnak , nile etc etc.......I told him I was booking a holiday to Sharm el Shiek but he did not realise it was in Egypt!
he has been "joking" about me going for a few months now.
I tried to explain that sharm is a beach resort and is no where near all the stuff we want to do....we are only going for the sun and pool just the average beach holiday!
I tried to explain that it's like going to Edinburgh and saying your going to visit brighton......you just wouldnt do it!
Any way I just wanted to know is there any chance we could change our holiday destination , we only have 3 weeks before we are due to go?
You really ought to be asking your tour operator, especially as it's so close to the time you're leaving!

See - it's quite expensive to go to the pyramids for a day from Sharm, and you would then need to get a Visa - so tell your fiance it's strictly a beach holiday and you are only going to enjoy the sun and sealife...
