If anyone would like to post a review, please do so HERE.
Thanks.

I have read all the reviews, but still can't make out if there is a beach?
Thanks for any replies.
Sam
I think the beach is about 1.3km away as per brochure. I am going 20th may for a week. I have spent hours reading through previous posts and on the whole i think its a good place. I am going with my sister in law and 3 children and she went last July and the previous year so it must have something going for it.
Whats happened to your original holiday?
Nicola
Thanks for yr speedy reply.
As for the beach, there is a small, coarse sand one a few hundred yards away from the HV but it's not ideal. If you walk the other way, towards Fuengirola about half a mile or so away you'll come to a much better, more golden sand beach. I realise it's not exactly across the road from the HV but it's probably not as far as you thought it would be. We took a walk there one day last week and it probably took 15 minutes at the most.
Hiya, I'm sure that I read somewhere that they don't allow inflatables in the pools. Rather than re-reading all of the posts, can anyone tell me if this is the case. Thanks.
last year it was ok to have a ball or armbands, rings etc but no boats and lilo sort of inflatables.
hello spindles, did you go all inclusive? if so how did you find the food? we went in 2004 and are due to go back in aug this year.
Someone asked about the time the Buffet Restaurant closes. I brought the info sheet home and it says that La Perla - Main Buffet Restaurant is open from 07.30-10.30 for breakfast and Dinner is 18.30 - 21.30. All inclusive finishes at 12 noon on the day of departure (a bit of a bummer if you're on a late flight!)
By the way, the brochure says that there is underground parking which you have to ask about at Reception and they will tell you the prices. As my son had stayed there last year, we just drove down to the car park without seeing Reception, in fact, it was only half way through the week that I read that there was a charge for parking! When we checked out we weren't charged. There were lots of cars parked on the approach road to the Reception which meant that people had to either walk into Reception or through the side gate but if you park underground it's a short walk through a couple of doors to bring you to a lift, certainly saving a lot of time. There was always plenty of room to park and, of course, the car isn't like an oven like it would be when it's been left out in the sun all day.
Through past experience, we found that the kids got bored quite quickly when they weren't allowed inflatables in the pool to mess around with as there isn't much else to do in the pool apart from swim!!!
I think that the all inclusive finishing at noon on the day of departure is a bit harsh. Our flight home isn't until early evening so I have paid for a late checkout room. I could understand if we didn't have our room until late, but we won't be 'checking out' until 1800 so surely all facilities should be available until we 'check out'!
70 odd days to go and really looking forward to going back
How strict are there on this rule? Reason I am asking is that we have a daughter with special needs and she is quite heavy to hold, so last year at HV Majorca it was easier to sit her in an inflatable and she loved it!
Been reading some of the info on these pages ,now I cant wait to go food sounds great (goingAI)hotel sound fab,not sure about beach though, just wondered if anyone could answer a few questions for me
We are going with our three children aged 11 7 and 1
I have read the tiles in the bottom of the pool are chipped and cracked is this still true.
Is it easy enough for the childen to get drinks, icecream etc do they get their own wristband or do they need a parent with them at all times
Could anyone recomend any good trips that would be suitable for all the family.
Any other hints tips does or donts from anyone please
thanks in advance
from mrs v excited manchester
hi louieg we went in 2004 and are back this year, if your child has special needs i really cant see a problem with the inflatable for your child, a quick word at reception and im sure it will be fine-when do you go bet you arereally looking forward to going its a fab place great for kids and adults alike!
We just got back from here yesterday, I was a bit apprehensive when we first got there as it appeared to be a huge complex much bigger than the Holiday Village in Majorca that we stayed at last year. We had a great time though, the food was excellent, the room was brilliant, the views were outstanding but the pools were freezing!
hi carol 57, glad to hear you had a great holiday, i agree with what you say about the size of the place its huge on our first night their in august 2004 we couldn't even work out how to get outside of the hotel!!!! lol! soon found our way round though! and after your comments im looking forward to going back this year even more - roll on august 13th
Anyone returning from here who hasn't yet done so would you please add your review
Hi to everybody going to HV Costa del Sol this year. We're going 27th May and was wondering if anybody has used the Kids Clubs yet this year - just wondered what the childrens entertainment like. Also, the Swim Kids, my daughters are not too brave in the water (6 and 4) and thought somebody else teaching them might booste their confidence. Anybody used these sessions?
Does anyone who's been know if it's worthwhile taking beach towels. I read somewhere that towels are provided at the pool. Are they readily available?
Also, is the evening entertainment outdoor or indoor? I am just wondering if i'll be cold at night.
I have been reading previous messages/concerns/complaints about long queues at the bars and cut feet from the pool tiles.
Can anyone who has been there recently give any info (I am taking my family in July this year)
Also, has anyone got any new photos to post on the Photo Galleries?
Cheers.
