There is a programme on sky Thomson tv channel 637 at 5.30pm tonight featuring all the FC Holiday villages.
I watched it yesterday so if you miss it it should be on again

The Becks and Fosters wasn't operating for five of the seven days, but then they had delivery of the beer but it was running out quick!
Lucky you. They had none for our entire 14 night stay.
hi everyone, does anyone know if the hotel that was being built next door is finished yet and if it is what is its name? hi again scottishmum, have you booked anywhere this year as you probably remember i was going to palace last year but had another baby instead so going this august and am excited already, hayley.
Drop me a pm and let me know what flavour baby you had etc, so I don't get into trouble of Briar for being yet again!
Have flights booked to Turkey on 28th June, but don't know where I'm staying yet. Would love to go back to the PP but unfortunately you can't book it outwith a package.

We went to the Holiday Village in Egypt last year as was amazed at how good it was. This time we have booked (me, partner and two boys - 8 & 5) for the Holiday Village Turkey. Never been to Turkey before or this particular HV. Any advice or tips welcome.............
Thank you.
Nikki
Merged with existing topic. I suggest you settle down with a cup of coffee before you wade through the earlier posts!
However, please do not let your children in the sea at the HV beach, it is dangerous with stong currents and shelves steeply away at the waters edge. A few feet and kids are out of their depth. I believe there is a better one about a mile away and also turtle beach near Dalyan which we visited on a trip was superb.
hi nikki, it will be our 3rd visit to the hv turkey, we went oct 05 and july 06, we were supposed to go last july but had a baby instead so we (me, husband and 6 children) are goind 21st aug this year and cant wait. anything you need to know just ask. we were thinking of going to the egypt one when the kids are bit older. when you going to hv turkey? hayley
1) I think it now all one complex (holiday Village) but i have read that one side is still better than the other - if so can you request where you stay
2) We are a family of 4 (2 kids aged 13 & 9) and we a t least want a separate bedroom for the adults and maybe a sofa bed in a lounge. We have been thinking of a jaquzzi suite but i have also heard about junior suite and kids den. Could someone explain what is in each one and which one would suit our needs. I did go into the local FC but they were a bit vague!!
3) I have also read that the pool slides are only open for a limited number of hours per day - is this right and how often
4) IS the soccer school and stage school any good?
5) As its all one is there now only 1 buffet restuarant ?
6) Are the themed resturants any good
ANy help or advice very welcome
We are going in May and this is what have found out so far:
The kids den have a seperate bed room which has bunk beds and playstation in. These are situated in the Pegasus building as are the interconnecting rooms.
Both sides of complex are nice and of same standards, but you are nearer to some of kids activities and facilities on Pegasus side.
The rooms on Pegasus side have a sliding door with seperate lounge area, but the rooms in Tropical side still have lounge area but are open plan ( found this out by looking on Pegusus Palace website and then Tropical palace website ).
There are Junior suites on both sides, no quite sure what difference is, and I have been told that the Jacuzzi suites are in the middle of both complex's ( but don't quote me on that one ).
There are 2 buffet restaurants, don't know what a la carte restaurants are like.
Soccor schools are good, they have them at all FC hol villages, stage school only runs in high season.
Went to HV Egypt last year and the in2action team and entertainment staff were fantastic!!
Only 14 weeks for us to go.....

We had a kids den, you walked through main door, bathroom on side then into main bedroom with double bed, tv, fridge, double doors to kids den bunk beds, desk, bean bag, tv (collect ps2 from reception) then balcony. Kids den more aimed at younger children in my opinion, I think it was disney characters on walls and bedding. My son was 12 when we went and he never used the PS2 he prefered the games room.
He enjoyed the soccer club, they also do tournaments that you can pay to enter.
Buffet restaurant on both sides, pegasos one has an inside and outside area to eat. Only tried one themed restaurant and we were not impresssed.
Daughter aged 9 loved the kids clubs, son 12 was not too keen as they ran all the age groups in one session and sometimes they had them singing songs etc which were more aimed at the younger ones.
the pools are great and we had a great time on both occasions.
if anyone has any questions i'll try to answer
only down side is mozzies but go prepared and you should be alright, our friends went last year and loved it so much they going again this year.
25 weeks and we will be there!
oh by the way kids clubs are great and in2action team fantastic!
I'm glad I got my info right
Do you know what the interconnecting rooms are like? I know we are in Pegasus side. Does that mean we will get 2 rooms that have the sliding door to lounge, connected together or are the rooms different??
Getting excited now, 14 weeks to go......
Did you use the mozzy stuff you buy there or did you take some with you, from past experience have found the ones you buy there it to work better.

hayley
Does the family room have seperate longe area? We hav 3 kids that is why we want interconnecting, so don't mind if walls are thin as we just wanted more space as the oldest 2 are 12 and 10
we did take our own mozzie stuff jungle formular the first time and did get bitten but not loads, baby not at all, and the second time avon skin so soft which didnt work for us so used sin kov from the hotel shop which seemed to work the best although it doesnt smell great,
hayley
We'll have a 3 year old in with us and then the 2 boys next door, so we should have loads of room. Can't stand us all being cramped in 1 room and there are not many places that do rooms big enough for 5.
Did you go on any trips?
Jo
HI jo we go on the 12th june all 19 of us! what dates you going on ?
Still confused sorry!!! i have also tried the local FC shop but they couldnt really help!!
- I still cant work out if the jazuzzi suite and junior suite are the same. When you go to the FC website in the accomdation details for the HV it talks about a jazuzzi suite which i think is what we want with a separate bedroom for adults and lounge for the kids. But when you try an upgrade from a family room it only gives you the option of junior suite - are they the same thing or have they just sold out of jazuzzi suites !!
Thanks any info would be great
