We'd love to go back for our third visit as we had a fantastic holiday in July 2007. We're off to Crete this year in August, and have already booked Ibiza for 2009 so maybe 2010 will see us return.

It will be intresting to know if they have done anything with the water in the pool to tackle the ear infections.

hi, i can't remember from our last visit, but are complimentry shower gel etc provided in the rooms........

Duncan I'd love to go back for a third visit too, but it seems to be really expensive now compared to our two visits in 2006. I also think what really needs to be done to tackle the problem of ear infections in the pool is parents need to put proper swimming nappies on their children! From what I saw the HV pools were cleaned meticulously every night, but if parents aren't taking precautions with their young children this will always continue to happen. The same thing happened at the HV costa del sol. One of their pools was closed at least every day due to faeces floating about, it really sickened me, especially when a bit stoater hit me on the side! :yikes

Tracy, I can't remember if there was toiletries in the rooms or not. I think there might have been the sample size ones maybe?

yes thats what i was hoping, as my hubby and son always use the complimentry toiletries, so that leaves more room for my mine and my daughters stuff in the case ;)

Tracey,

We had a Jaccuzi suite last year and small bottles of shampoo and shower gel were provided along with small bars of soap and shower caps.

Scottishmum,

Yes, this happened on three occassions in the slide pool when we were there. They can clean the pools meticulously each night, but the ear infections will never stop until the chlorinate the water properly. This is something that they don't do despite a sign being by the pool saying it is. You can tell as soon as you get water on your face and the obvious chlorine smell isn't there either.

We go 8th sept and we have priced to go at the same time next year, we cant afford to go during school hols, and its £600 more than this year which is disgusting seen as this year we have paid £1400 ish for 2ad1ch and for next year its £2k+ both include free child places. This will be our last time at hv turkey if the prices dont change.

i have just priced up 2 weeks next august for 2 ads and 2 ch (14 and 11) to compare to what i am paying for this august...........next august has come out at £1800 more :yikes ...... this year the child price goes up to 15 years, however next year the child price is up to 12.........looks like this will be my last year then .

Hi, i have just double checked the price for next year and its now coming out at 3050 with free child place.....don't know what happened when i chacked the price last night :que

I have just noticed on this years invoice that i have been charged 4 x £15 coach transfers, however in the 3rd edition brochure (which i assume my holiday is booked from as i only booked last week) it states coach transfer is free.....! Not sure if i can face another phone call to FC. Has anyone else had transfer charges on there invoice/confirmation ?

hi tracy,
i have also priced up our holiday for next year to see what the difference is, this year its 4500 for 2 adults and 6 kids but next year its £7000 :omg
obviously we wont be going next year as we've saved 2 years for this one! :(
there is toiletries in the room.
my friend has just returned from the hv and absolutly loved it and did'nt want to come home, the only gripe they had was the free icecreams(not free cos of the price we all pay!) were only available for one and a half hours per day and queues were hour long! :( phone call to first coice i think!!! :tup
9 weeks to go!! cant wait :cheers

I have asked this before along with some other questions but got no answer on this point. Many people have said take sterling to use - do they also take sterling coins and if they give you change is this in lira?

Thanks
