Ive been back from the HV in mexico for about a month now and was so keen on rebooking for next year but just looked at reviews for the HV red sea and it sounds and looks fantastic!!

I would definately recommend it, i was a bit aprehensive before we went , but as i have said in previous posts and in a review ,it is a fantastic place
Only 5 wks 2 days till we are there (not tham I'm counting!

We're now looking at the 3rd of November for a week , it's cheaper + i'm having a bit of a hard time trying to get half term off from work
Can anyone please confirm that this hotel is exclusively for use by the British as i have just read a harrowing report on another forum about a load of Russians spoiling a holiday there as i have been in a hotel with Russians and trust me its an experience i do not want to repeat.

It is used by Russians (and Brits) , we were there in October and there were quite a lot there, but to be honest other than us having a few laughs at the trunks all the men seem to wear
,we hardly noticed them , i was a bit wary before we went but my fears were unfounded,and believe me i am one of the most impatient unforgiving people in the world so i was ready for an argument about queue jumping before we went after reading this forum... but there was no problemI wouldn't worry , we are going back next year.
We came back from HV on the 6th Nov and the russians were just starting to arrive, but we also didnt notice them to much. We didnt notice any pushing or queue jumping from them in fact they kept themselves very much to themselves. HV (for anyone who is going soon) was very clean, very friendly and the food was good. The people cant do enough for you, if you have a problem they will try and do their best to sort it out. We had a swim up room,
best decision we made kids loved it (16 and 10). The quiet pool was cold when we arrived in october, but I think they must turn the heating on when it hits november because the water so much warmer by the time we left.

Just booked , flying out on the 3rd Nov next year for a week at the HV again, can't wait....we have the small matter of 3 weeks in Spain next August to get through first ;)but i'm sure we'll cope

I would wait until you get there for defo.
When we got there we'd been upgraded free of charge and hadn't even asked to be. It was fab.
