Hi all, i got a saress a couple of weeks ago and its great. I'm 5"1 and a size 16, i got the xl and it comes to my knees- which is just right.
By the way i got the black to try and make me look slimmer- not sure it worked though

Not bothering with waistcoat. By the time I wangle my arms through the Saress I want to be able to 'strut off' without having to then try and navigate a waistcoat (Knowing my luck the waistcoat would 'take off' along with my screw thingy - but that's in a different thread :lol:)

Well it arrived this morning 
It's huge on me - all droopy at the back. Now I'm going to have to pay to return it and hopefully not pay again for them to send me the next size down

Well you all seem to like them (when you've got the right size that is!) now that you've got them.
Erm, the pictures to me, well they look a little on the tarty side? A bit skimpy and tight?
I'm sure this is not the case once you get them home, maybe it's some of the patterns that I am not keen on.

I always colour co ordinate bikini,sarong,flip flops,beach bag and beach towel.i have always liked to think the looks i get on the beach are admiration!

Okay so I've just returned from my hols and I still managed to carry off the bag lady look to utter perfection.
However, I did manage for the first time to tie my sarong correctly.
I don't know what it is but one of our group was a spanish lady who has been living in the UK for some years. She was always totally coordinated and chic.
It must be in the genes.

When you say 'bag lady' are we talking about loads of rustling Tesco carrier bags full of bits and bobs?

Not quite. 
I carried a normal bag full of stuff but generally looked dishevelled. I can't seem to help it. I also seem to need to go somewhere when not quite dry so wet patches all over my clothes from damp bikini (I know, chic people take two and change into the dry one after swimming!). Plus I would tend to use half my clothing to cover up the bit of the sunbed left uncovered by my not-big-enough beach towel (that plastic gets hot!) so they would get creased and smudged with sand etc.
I'm learning to live with it now. Daytime on hols I will never look chic, end of story.
