I've ordered a sarong with a buckle type thingy but I think I'll have a go at the ears and see if it looks effortless like those chic europeans. I'll need to add my name to the petition for a video though!

I love this thread! It cheers me up at work when I'm fed up and can't wait for holidays. I love the sound of the saress but need advise........I am early 50's, 5 9" and need something loose to cover all my lumps & bumps, but knee length (mini skirt days are gone) please let me know if these would be suitable. I usually Charity Shop but the saress looks too good to miss!

Well I am very late 40s and also 5'9
Mine comes to the knee which is what I wanted. It does cling but seems to be in the right way - looks like I have a waist and hides the muffin top!

Yes, loads, I bought the jade green one. I used mine before washing as I bough it in Cyprus, got covered in green fluff Looked like the hulk.

Well I've washed my ITSAs, did them in with the darks and everything was fine. Had to empty the tumble drier filter of a mass of purple fluff mind you (I have a pink and blue).

They're all lovely and fluffy now and in the bags ready for hols!
In my quest for Euro-chic co-ordination this year, I have clipped my bikinis onto trouser hangers along with matching sarongs and vest top or beach dresses/kaftans and the matching hair scarves I've bought to wear with them. I WILL be chic, lol. (it'll probably last about 4 days before I'm just throwing anything on lol).

I've bought two bikinis and two tankinis. One sarong (not doing well with the ears thing but it came with a coconut shell doobreey with holes in to secure it). New sandals. New studs for daytime and bracelets/earrings for evening.

As you'd expect with my name everything is in pink! I may be a short fat flump but at least I'll co-ordinate!

Ordered Saress on Monday and it arrived this morning! I am thrilled with it, one of my work friends also ordered one and we have been full of them all morning! She is thinking of getting a long one and I am seriously considering a couple of others. I think the Company that makes them should consider a commission payment to HT

You've talked me into ordering a Saress - will see what it looks like. I ordered the XL as although I'm a 16 I sometimes get 18 to hide any bumps. I'm 5' 7" and didn't want it to be up my bum either. No doubt the XL will now drown me and I'll look like a pink tent

Someone earlier mentioned Tesco carrier for their suncreams. I use a brilliant method (quite simple really) but my life's been so much easier since I started putting my creams into a see through thick plastic, zipped clutch bag type of thing. You can buy these types of bags/holdall's most places.

It's excellent. I leave all my creams in there and keep the bag in the beach bag. They are easy to find and when I've used the cream I just put it back in the bag then into beach bag (lot of bags going on here ) The creams don't get sandy and it looks really neat on the beach.

You often see those kind of bags (thought not see-through, patterned) on offer free with magazines. Very useful.

My Union Jack swimming shorts are usually a bit of a givaway!

Got the maxi dresses, high waisted shorts, gladiator sandals, platform shoes, nice blouses, boho t shirts and my fave chain head chain ready and my cute little bikinis ready for nikki beach , so the whole of topshop, and zara has been raded by me..bring the euro sheek on

Aah, but have you got your denim waistcoat ? A must for euro chic ! I have purchased and indeed worn mine and have teemed it with vest tops, spaghetti strapped frocks, funky t shirts, sooooo versatile !
having said that, I'll get on my hols and look a right gimp !!!! hey ho, as long as I just put a pair of oversized sunnies on, I will sooo work the look ! or are oversized sunnies out for this summer ? aviators ? blue or brown tinged ?
