Hi
Has anyone stayed here with older children? Our range from 12 to 23 so wondering if this will be too kid orientated for us lot. Difficult to please everyone I know, but do prefer to have a hotel that isn't just for kids.
Thanks
Hi,booked here for May,but reading the reviews there seems to be some conflicting reports. Is there any outside acts on in the evening and is mould in rooms really a problem.
Hi I am also thinking of booking this hotel for end of July but have read mixed reviews. The location looks good but not too keen on the room with shower hanging off the wall, mould, smelly air conditioning etc. Has anyone been recently who can reassure me the hotel has improved? Thanks
We go in May,also the food review is mixed. The food only got 60% rating in the book but i have read that the English could only do half board and others all inclusive up to this year,we go all inclusive on May 17 so with no replys i will have to find out myself.Got all inclusive for 2 adults and i child for £570 so could not resist.
I am sure you will have a great time. Don`t forget to post your findings when you get back.
Good luck. Have a nice trip..
Comments on the back of a postcard please, we are looking for 09's holiday (not been on 0'8s yet, 3 weeks today yeah!) and found a really good all inclusive deal to this holiday but am unsure, it sounds like it's in the middle of nowhere and not sure about the Germans!! Anyone been more recently than 2007 which was the lastest review on here.
We go in 2 weeks so we will let you know,we got all inclusive for £570 for 2 adults and i child on late deals.Seen very mixed reviews so we will see.
Thanks for that, we are going to the Bali in Benalmadena this year but I do want to get back to Majorca, let me know how it was and have a great one?
"THE GERMANS"
I am going to have a bit of a rant here so please bear with me. Why do the "Brits" have a problem with the Germans?? I have been on several holidays where there have been Germans staying at the hotel, and I can honestly say I have never been bothered/intimidated or troubled by their presence. We stayed at The Turbo Club in Gran Canaria. There were a lot of Germans there, and the menu did tend to sway to their tastes more than the Brits. Needless to say we didn`t go hungry, I don`t visit a country expecting to eat a full English breakfast and pie and chips for dinner all week. I found the Germans to be friendly and kept themselves to themselves. However, one night after the bar had closed and we were just enjoying the atmosphere of the evening, two British lads stripped naked and dived into the pool. The next morning we awoke to the sound of another British chap being escorted from the hotel because, while under the influence of drink he had beaten his girlfriend up. Do you wonder why the "Germans" always get their towels on the sunbeds before everyone else?? Its because they dont stay out till the small hours getting rat arsed pissed! I wonder if there is a German version of Holiday Truths in which they say, Nice place, good food , friendly staff, good location too many damn BRITISH!!!
Please don`t think, jodieth12 that this is in responce to your comment about not being sure about the Germans. I have just read too many reviews where everyone moans about the "Germans"

Food rating in Thomson book is only 59% and mould in rooms in some reviews are my concern, but reviews on this site seem ok .Looking forward to the holiday whatever and will post when we return
I'm not offended, it's just that we went to Arenal a few years back which at the time was predominantly a german resort and whilst I enjoyed the holiday it was slightly disappointing, we like to meet other british families as my daughter is an only child so like to have a bit of banter and fun and most of the time you can't do this with "the germans" feel free to correct me if you think I'm wrong.
Hi Jo I owe you an apology Nowhere in your post did you actually "slag" off the Germans. I understand that if you like to mix with other Brits going to a hotel full of Germans would be a bit awkward. This hotel has 500 rooms and if 490 rooms are occupied by Germans then you are going to have a quite holiday. The point I was trying to make was that, every hotel review I have ever read always has a reference to the Germans, they are entitled to holidays as well.
Just returned and will post review later.Hotel is not full of Germans, there were more Brits, although the Hotel may regret that as the Germans were better behaved.Hotel was great and one of the best we have stayed in.
Hi trickydicky, . Welcome back. Thanks for posting your review so quickly. Sounds like you had a great time. We go this Sunday. I think we have a similar opinon regarding what to expect when travel abroad. By this I mean the old saying "you can`t please all the people all of the time" Is the hotel a dump simply because you had to wait 5mins at the bar to get a drink? Is it a crime that the hard working maid knocks the door a few mins early to clean your room? You do have a "do not disturb" tag to hang on your door. As for the food, I think they go out of their way to accomodate the guests tastes. I once had Steak and Kidney pie in a Spanish hotel and it was the best I have ever tasted! As for "The Germans" I, like you don`t find them a problem, it`s the small hard core of Brits that can be the trouble. Sorry to go on, but people use these forums to find out what to expect when they get to their destination. We will have a stress free journey, thanks to your honest reveiw. Thanks again for that. . I will also post a review on my return.....
You will have a great time,we did.All the people we spoke to were pleased with the place. We went with a couple that are very hard to please and they say they will go back.We were suprised by the amount of people that go back there each year.Great view from balcony if you have sea view.Bar closes at 11.30 but many places close by.
Spot on trickydicky loved the place. Plenty of food almost all day long. I thought the self service drinks was an excellent idea, no hanging about, none of this, 2 drinks only stuff. The All Inclusive finishes the minute you board the bus for the airport and not at 12 when you check out, that was great for us as we had a late flight. Plenty of Brits there jodieh12. You will have to be waiting at the door for about 7:20ish to be involved in the Anglo-German race for the sunbeds! Anyway, I am off to post my review.... cheers all.......

Is there any laudry facilites for guests to use in the hotel?
Sunbeds am rush ?
How long from airport to hotel ?
Very close to booking this hotel for next summer, bit disappointed Portland have no free kids places for the dates we want yet Thomson have! Concerned that we need two rooms and wondered if anyone knows if we would stand any chance of getting rooms next to each other if we mailed the hotel a few weeks before we go?
Also, anyone got any information on the daytime/night entertainment? In the brochure it says volleyball and football organised, just wondered if this was within the hotel grounds or maybe up the road somewhere (like at the fiesta hotels in ibiza).
Just having a few last minute panic moments before I spend over £4k on a holiday for the 6 of us
