Hi all
Got back saturday after a fortnight at the Don Juan, firstly may I say how friendly and obliging the staff were. First apperance from outside hotel and you think Oh My God, enter the hotel and entrance lobby is much better. The rooms are clean and roomy, but hire a fan the heat can be oppresive.
The location is ideal and we found it relatively quiet for magaluf.
One big downside to hotel is the food, we ate out everyday after first attempt in restaurant,
Still had great holiday but hadv to spend money on food , but hey, maybe were too fussy.
regards suke
Just booked 2 nights full board for end November for £57 (through Travel Republic) for my husband and I for a birthday treat. When we stayed there last October Senor Mundo was operating breaks for Spanish senior citizens from the mainland, and wine was complementary at lunch & dinner.
I've lived her a number of years and wouldn't recommend the Don Juan in the summer for anyone over 25/30 years of age, as it can be a very noisy hotel sold basically to the youth market. Winter time, if it's open, it will be full of spanish pensioners ! If I was to stay in Magalluf (which I wouldn't!) it would have to be at one of the Sol Hotels, pref Antillas/Barbados, or the Sol Cala Blanc or Son Matias down in Palma Nova.
