also late room charges have gone up to 10 euros an hour..so if any one has a real late flight would be better to book a single days stay on the barut website..
I have only 9 weeks to go now and just about due to pay my balance, the holiday to the hemera seems more real now and once we are into july I will get excited.
Just out of interest, who have you booked with that allows you to pay 9 weeks before.

Perfume my balance is due on the 8th June for 4th August Departure, I booked direct with direct holidays. I don't know if you book with TC direct if the balance due is less than 12 weeks.

Were off to the Hemera on Sunday 9th August, can't wait! it's our first visit to Side, we have been to Lara Beach and Belek previously, ( Titanic, Delphin Palace and Cornelia Deluxe, ) hoping the Hemera is just as good, we have a 5 year old daughter so picked Hemera a s more brits seem to go.

Ive been quoted £4276 for 2 weeks Aug 2010 for a family of 5, is this a good price???
It sounds a reasonable price to me noods for 5 . We are going in 3 weeks time and there are 5 of us . 4 adult prices and 1 child price and we paid £3700 as an early booking last year in 2 standard rooms .

This is for a 2 bed apartment. Im stuck between this and The Club Asteria which ive been quoted £3,585

The hemera is mean't to be good, has a good kids club and you will get more british families there than the asteria for you kids to make friends with and the kids club will cater for british kids whereas the asteria they might be all geared towards russian and german kids. I am going in august.

Tend to agree with Mike noods . I know £700 Is a lot of money but it may not feel so much if you think you would enjoy the Hemera more and are not happy about being outnumbered .
I think it's a good price for August. We are going to the Hemera 5th-19th July this year and we have paid almost that for five of us,was originally four of us but my daughter is back home after working abroad so we added her on a few weeks ago. Happy holidays everyone! This time next week I will be packed 
this hotel seems to get very good reviews but ive just been looking on TA for various hotel reviews, and found hemera was only position 30 on the popularity list, wonder how they work that out 
sorry its a bit off topic but Over the years I have grown sceptical with their popularity list Karen and I'm not convined it's due to the best reviews that gives them the top slot just as an example ,twice I have booked hotels for city breaks that were either first or second on their list . Both great hotels but I'm sure I could of done just as well for half the price further down the list and indeed if you look further down you find plenty with consistantly fab reviews .
In both instances I received an immediate email from them on our return , welcoming us home and a polite request to leave a review if we enjoyed our stay with a link to TA . Good business and clearly in their interests to keep them on the top slot .
Was you thinking of booking the Hemera Karen or just a change of area .

no i was just looking to see what was the top hotels in turkey and egypt ,and was really surprised to see the hemera so far down the list, prices from tc and direct holidays seem quite high for next yr , i do fancy a change and egypt is a possibility

It seems that on trip advisor there is no order to who is at the top, for example the top 20 hotels on there can all be rated 4 1/2 out of 5, but they are in no particular order, so the 20th on the list will be just as good as the first.
I tend to agree noods and then it probably comes down to the quantity of reviews coming through for those with the best scores .
i said i would not return to the hemera after a number of visits, but i booked again for next year as i know the hotel and its standards would take some beating . so if off again next year for 2 weeks .. 
Can anybody tell me if there is diving bookable at the Hemera . i.e has anyone seen it being sold or a company doing try dives in the pool .
If anybody has used a local dive school and can offer a recommendation that would be even better .
