Lyn enjoyıng ıt here and the beer ıs flowıng. Temps ın low 30's each day and and the evenıng last nıght was nıce and cool. The temp thıng was the lowest ı have seen ıt, what the true temp was ı haven't got a clue but ıt felt cooler. lyn ı know you were surprısed to see me post after ı told ı won,r post anymore but once I am back ı wıll talk to people vıa PM. Internatıonal brands ıs very mısleadıng and quıte a few people are unhappy. Russıan gın, ha ha ınternatıonal brand they are havıng a joke, some whısky I have never heard of and vodka ıs russıan but I have been told ıts awful, and whıte rum from the carıbbean ıts not too bad. No ınternatıonal lıke adverstısed ın TC brochure.

does the hemera have an internet cafe?

There are 4/5 computers with internet access in the games room shaunie . They quote you 10 lire for an hour but we always just went for half an hour and if they arn't too busy you tend to run over anyway before you get tapped on the shoulder .

For those with Laptops etc there is wireless available in reception . My son was also picking up a signal around the pool and was successfully using his ipod touch for internet access so I guess there are other spots around too .

Have tried to book Hemera for school holidays next year (2010)...

Thomas cook : no family rooms available, plus if there was, they told me that the family rooms must take 3 adults !! according to t/cook.....that means for my 13 yr we would have to pay adults price.....rip off

Standard room :they wont sell me cos it will only take 2 adults and 2 child up to ages of 12, she turns 13 in april 2010..so 3 months to old !!

Cosmos have family rooms - wait for it..........there is a charge of 252 pounds extra per person (including the kids) £1008 on charges just for family room ??????????? who are the kidding......4,480 for 2 weeks.....what a joke

When we were booking the Arum for 2010 (not school holidays, thankfully the year11's finish early, and we're taking the little one out of school) Thompsons was coming in at over £5000!! This is for two weeks (TC was just over £3000).

We couldn't get a family room. It was actually cheaper to have a family suite, as then child prices go up to 16 (only 13/14 in rooms), and we got one of the kids free

I wish that they'd just decide what is a child, and what is an adult, for both hotels and flights. We now have 3 adults and a child on the flights, and two adults two children at the hotel Maybe if it was aged 16 for EVERYTHING, and for ALL companies, it would be a lot easier

We have actually stayed at the Hemera in a family room in 2008. It has a double bed and 2 single beds, yet in the t/cook brouchure it states double bed, single bed and extra childs bed........

There is no difference in the single beds, they are the same, lol......they really need to check out the rooms and sort ot this child price business for sure..

We would of booked by now, they lose a saleand we dont get the holiday we'd like.

Not all of the rooms have 2 singles in, some of them are the the sofa size beds..... hotel always tries to accomodate with proper beds tho....

we booked the hemera a couple of weeks ago through direct holidays, originally we were going to take the kids out of school for 2 weeks as we really couldn't afford to take them in the school hols but just before i booked i thought i'd just check the prices once more and they had for some reason dropped them and it was only a couple of hundred more to go in hols, the day before when i checked it was over a grand more, so booked straight away, there are 2 adults and 4 children and because there are so many of us we have to pay adult price for the 12 and 14 yr olds and have 2 rooms even though we could all fit into an apartment , we've been paying adult price for the 14yr old since she was 10 because there is so many of us. anyway we've ended up paying £4664 for 2 weeks at the end of july which is brilliant for a family our size going to a 5* hotel

I have other internet connections with HT accounts so sending PM's and not posting continues. I really can't believe because I posted on here I won't post anymore and will talk to people by pm only I have the facility to send PM's removed, the reason why I won't post is then I can't post something I see as harmless but the powers to be see it as more sinister. To me a rather childish move to remove the facility to send PM's, a tit for tat move.

I will not leave a review on this site because HT copywrite it and it becomes the ownership of HT. As a member I do not have to make posts or leave reviews, there is nothing in the terms of membership what says somebody can't only use PM's and apart from the warning I recieved by PM for a post on thread referring about another nationality I have done nothing wrong.

I will carry on as usual.

We don't see calling German's Nazi's as 'harmless' the post was removed for that reason and you decided not to post on here anymore because it of this.

Surely Mike this site is about the members ? Mods and Admin are the ones that do all the work.

It's the members that benefit from all the reviews and presumably you must have benefited from other peoples reviews, also many people have answered your questions in the past in an effort to help you to have a better holiday.

It's the other HT members that you are disadvantaging not the Admin and Mods by taking the stance not to bother to post a review of the Hemera. Dare I say it, but it seems a bit childish.

I had already decided before then to stop posting and the nazi post warning played only a small part in my final decision, what played a bigger part I felt I was wasting my time posting especially on the turkey dalaman forum. I accepted the warning and that was that.

I remember posting more than once I stayed at the gran vista ca'n picafort and the hotel was 95% german and they were very nice and the children were well behaved. The admin may think I have a problem with germans but I only call them something if they are aggressive towards me and my family, I don't go looking for trouble with germans or any other nationality.

There is no point anybody sending me a PM because I get a message you are not authorised to read PM's. I will be in contact with people via PM in the near future.

I just want to carry on with my pm's be left alone and keep myself to myself and let members, mods and admin get on with what they are doing on HT.

In the mirror today there is a article about how the russians nick the sunbeds and are worst than the germans. If a national paper does not see it as racist to name nationalities and nobody says its racist then why when talking about sunbeds on here and the nationalities who take the sunbeds are not allowed to be named because its seen as racist by the powers to be.

I am happy under one of my other names through a different interent provided.

With me not posting on here anymore and by stopping me from sending I have been effectively banned but I am still here.

Perfume I have left reviews on other sites, holiday watchdog will get a review soon, holiday check has a review off me. If HT removed the copywrite on peoples reviews then I would post one. I see people are not leaving reviews and admin keep on asking people to leave one. Something what never happened a few years ago, maybe others aren't leaving reviews because of the copywrite.

Mike, I didnt read your post which was removed, but a couple of weeks ago one of my posts was removed,along with others, because it was deemed to be racist.
All I wrote was that I asked a German couple if I could take one of the parasols,(they had 3)which they were using as a windbreak.
I havent stopped posting but I must admit I was a bit miffed at being accused of being racist.I have lived in Germany and my daughter was born there so I have a fondness for all things German.
Keep on posting and try not to take it personally.
By the way the family who we house/dog sit for were at the Hemera the same time as you and loved it so much they booked to go back next year for 2 weeks despite me trying to get them to go to Icmeler.
