OMG we dont have TC tv at home here . If you see a couple being interviewed whilst draped across a sunbed around the pool area please do not look at the sunbeds behind
The boys were asked if they would like to be interviewed while they ate their lunch in the restaurant . They declined and replied with a NO WAY.
I don't know if it would be on that quickly, but the Hemera WAS on this morning on TC TV, and there was interviews on sunbeds.
to those of you that have just returned, we are off on Sunday, quick question about the pool towels, do you have to pay a deposit on them? also do you get them when you check in or down by the pool during the day?
Also did anyone's children used the kids club? was it any good?
Thanks very much
Emma
Guys we seriously need to stop reminiscing about the BB, for one thing have you seen the prices for next year? Chris, when we left we had about 25-30 people waving us off, including the chef in his tall hat! Can't remember the guys name with the plant frond but he also threw a glass of iced water all over me when I was nodding off!
It's probably going to be the only hotel where I have fried my own eggs and cooked my own omelette because the young guy said he was too hot and tired! Only at the BB Blimey I've missed it this year
Emma, you get a card for the pool towels when you check in. There is a little hut adjacent to the pool bar where you can pick them up and you can change them as often as you like. Mine are a bit too old for the kid's club [18 & 24] so can't comment but the children seemed to enjoy the mini club disco every night, the girls in the kid's club seemed very nice too. It's a seperate building in the grounds away from the pools etc and looked safe and secure if that's any help. Have a great holiday
Forgot to mention the olympic games morning they did at the pool during the morning of our last day .not sure if it was a normal fortnightly thing . It lasted for a couple of hours and it was fun to watch the different nationalities battling it out over the water games . Most upbeat the pool area had been for the whole fortnight . All the ladies were tapping their feet to the more upbeat music so I know it wasnt just me that was missing it every day.
They did the usual club dance . (Turkiye and follow the leader ) after a pool game at 12pm every day but the jollyness only lasted half an hour which was a shame . I know it's not everyones cup of tea but we like a good pool scene .
sorry still havnt got round to doing my review but want to get it right .
Have a wonderful time Emma .

Anybody comıng to the hemera beware loads of kıds gettıng ear ınfectıons ın the pool.
Nice to hear from you Mike . That was a short post but I guess those computers there are a bit slow to load . If it was anything like my attempts You probably ran out of time Are you enjoying yourselves and getting plenty of beer and icecream
7 days and counting until we are in the Hemera...so excited!
In terms of the alcohol at the Hemera, it says some international brands are available, can anyone tell me what they are? Also, what is the beer? Thanks
Other drinks I'm not so sure about as I'm not a big drinker and hubby only drinks beer. There is a good selection and a menu of whats available on the bars which is always handy on an A/I and they give you a very good measure .
Some I can remember were Vodka, gin , wine, whisky, brandy , malabu, tequila , Irish cream ,good selection of cocktails of both alcoaholic and non alcaholic. I'm not sure about international branded drinks because they had all spare bottles on display and I didnt see any particular brands . I did have rather a lot of the Irish cream and it tased just like Baileys to me and the glass was huge . hubby had a brandy after dinner every evening and again he struggled with it as the measure was so big ..
A good selection of non alcoholic too with all the usual cokes, sprite, fanta , soda water alongside slushes , fruit juices (didnt try any of those as they normally make me fat if I get going on them), bitter lemon, drinks made with milk , iced tea etc . All bars also serve different teas and coffee and there is fresh orange at brekkie . You can see them load the oranges into the machine .
