Just read the reviews, and cant wait to go :hyper
after all a holiday is what you make it, some people moan about the slightest thing, I always take the bad bits of reviews with a pinch of salt, and focus on the good bits!
You have to remember this is a family complex, so a lot of noise is to be expected, Gone are the days of children being seen and not heard, I choose to go here because of all the childrens facillities, pools, and entertainment, which would make sure my children had a whale of a time, after all happy children make happy parents, in my case anyway :D
only 2 weeks to go :pele :pele :glynis :glynis

hi :wave
This is definatly a family complex. I think i only saw a handful of couples without children! I have never seen as many children there as i did last time and i have been in July! Obviously it is geeting more popular as the years go by. I dont mind children ( i have three of the little blighters myselves :bhead ) And its true if the kids are happy, you are happy. A holiday is definatly what you make it. Wish i was back there

hi maria
whats the hotels bad points and what is new this year what else have they built what tips can you give me about the lifts how good is the air condition in the rooms give me all the tips you can please

hi :wave
glad to be of service :D
Hotels bad points, erm..... I was a bit dissapointed when i went as a few of the bars wernt open :( . The bar at Saturno wasnt open until late sometimes not at all so residents had to go to the Marte hotel. This was rather annoying as it was quite busy. I myself was in Saturno. I did find loads of kids running around this hotel too. :bhead I know kids are kids- i took my boys with me, but no1 seemed to keep the kids under control. In all the times i have been, i have never once heard or seen staff telling the children off. People were complaining about spitting over balconies, so be aware. Lifts in Saturno, there are 3. 1 of which broke down every day. Cant comment on the Jupiter ones. They didnt seem as busy, think they have more lifts.
Air conditioning was perfect. Mine was on literally 24/7. They give you two cards. 1 of mine stayed in the electricity point. A must for when you get back in.
One thing i was let down on this year was the entertainment. I am assuming its because it was slightly out of season. I have been in June, July and September and never known the entertainment so.... There was plenty going on but it was all aimed for children.
Be prepared to queue for drinks, on a nightime especially. They stopped at around ten 2 twelve. A bit of a let down if you thought you was gonna get the last one in before twelve. Queues unreal as you can imagine! It gets worse in main season. Patience is a virtue- yea whatever!!
I did have a problem one night. We got back to our room to find the bathroom crawling with ants. The rim of the bath was actually moving! I went and complained and i was escorted back up to my room by a lovely Spanish bloke and sum ant killer. He sorted out my problem, but 2 days after found another in the sleeping area. Loads of cracks around for ants to breed.
Thats it i think! Theres nothing honestly bad about the complex. I Like it that much have come back again and again. I know the Staff are friendly. They work extremly hard, always cleaning. I have never seen staff like it!
I think you will enjoy it. Theres loads for kids to do. Theres a kiddy park and a fun area with bouncing castle, big trampolinesand amusements (payable) Bikes for adults and kids(some are a rust bucket mind!)
I cant think of any other differences in hotel since i went two years ago, apart from the new leisure river and extra pool. They knocked down one of the bars to accomodate for it.
If you wanna know anything else, just ask!

Maria
ps can i come lol

Hi :wave
We're there in 2weeks, can't wait! :fly
This may seem a silly question... but here goes, do they have 'hairdryers' in your hotel room:?: :shrug sorry if this does seem a silly question but all the places I have been to in the last couple of years did, so I don't want to pack 1 if they do, yet don't want to not pack 1 if they don't :!: :?:
Cheers :glynis Hev :pele

Hi :wave
Funny you sgould mention the milk-lol! My daughter was milk mad until around 3 years of age ( now its apple juice-ha!) We were worried when going to Majorca whether we would be able to get it. They do have milk but its not Pasteurised as we have here. More a sterilised UHT kind. My daughter had it, she had no choice. Lol! It is available at all bars in a fridge, along with chocolate milkshake. Be aware though, it can goe off quite quicky so keep checking it before giving it to your wee one.
Mosquitos  erm, yes i came back with two bite marks even though i had a plug in insect repellent in our room and used the spray too. It is a well lit up area and mosquitos are attracted to lights. Dont leave your patio doors open! They will soon fly in.
At the back of the hotel, there is a field that leads you to the motorway
(and route to market) if walking through make sure you have some repellent on. There are loads of flying insects. Alcudia is known for its canals! There are loads. Loads of mozzies lurk around there so if you venture out-top up with that spray.
I dont think hair dryers are in the hotel rooms. They do offer a service where they can be hired. But wouldnt advise, bit pricey! You can hire all types of stuff!

Gena, we arrive same day as you, think we get there about 4.30pm, flying from Norwich. Just thought I'd mention that coz you have 2 kids same age as mine...mine are 4 and 6 (7 in aug so nearly same as yours) plus a 16 mth old. Kids will probably meet in the kids clubs, I assume yours will be joining them? lol

i dont know if i want to go here now anyone else been robbed at this hotel

I am not suprised this has happened. The cleaners will let any1 in2 rooms. We were locked out of ours on the last day and had to find the cleaner to let us in. There were no quibbles, she was happy to help. Be aware. Someone got robbed on a previous visit. There is easy access to each of the hotels. Security is hard to find. They only have a few staff to secure Jupier, Marte and Saturno, so be aware! No-one takes notice of who enters the hotel. Sometimes reception desc is unattended. I have been to hotels where you cant enter unless you are actually a resident (whilst visiting my brother)
