Hi Shoestring, hubby and I are going too, but we are going the Easter week. Not sure what to expect, reading the reviews :? .
Just booked it a couple of weeks ago of the teletext.
Have been to Majorca 4 or 5 times before but never to Alcudia. We are going to Mexico in July, and just wanted a quiet week away at Easter, we don't have Kids, but I work with them all year.

if your hoping to have a quiet week at this hotel AND have no kids then you've got no chance.......we went last September and even though we have kids (10yr and 2yr) i found it to be way to lively, its a bit like a butlins hotel but in the sun. theres a LOT going on and kids run wild

I'm not so sure this hotel is 24hour all-inclusive (for alcohol) anymore, it wasnt when we were there September 2006. They provide sandwiches and soft drinks all night if this is what you mean?

yeah, alcohol is not 24hr.

:D just another of the myths by people who want to knock this as some kind of ned/chav place.

'sandwiches' of sort are available throughout evening/night and soft drink taps were open, and the water too.

I take it you never won anything when you filled in that questionnaire last year.

Well we went with Cosmos last year, night flights

This year we leave at 10am from Glasgow on Saturday 30th June. (booked through holidayandflightcentre.com based in Hamilton and got it few hundred quid cheaper than last year, and my kids are now 15 and 12, so eat like pigs..sorry adults)

Hope you get booked up okay

Hi All,

New user so hello to all and thanks in advance for any input!!!

I have a family Hol booked for Mid June - Club Mac. We have booked on the cheap with Teletext, tour operator is Medinland.

The Hol was booked on the back of 2 separate recommendations, so we bit the bullet.

However, in doing so, both parties who recommended the Hotel, queried our Tour Operator, specifically with regard to the use of the Kids Clubs.

I'm now led to believe that Airtours, Firstchoice and Cosmos are the bigger tour operators who use the Hotel and who operate Kids Clubs, along with several smaller tour operators such as ours.

My question is - will our kids be able to use any of the kids clubs? It's fairly important for us and helps break up the day as we have 4 kids 4 - 12 years.

Anyone who has been and can provide some feedback would be much appreciated. Or perhaps not related to this hotel, but any info with regard to using Kids Clubs from other Tour Operators, would also be useful.......
Can it be done, would it incur any additional charges, have you done this before.

Just trying to establish if our kids will get to use a kids club, even though we have used a lesser known/different tour operator. Fingers crossed we can or at least I can explain they can't before going to avoid dissapointment at the Hotel.

Sorry for the question being so lengthy, I look forward to any replies.

Hi Ian

Welcome to HT

When I was at Club Mac a few years ago, the hotel ran its own entertainments team, as well as the clubs run by tour operators. I don't think you are able to use the seperate operators clubs if you are not booked with them.

There are plenty of reviews on club mac in our reviews section

Hiya Ian, and welcome to the site. :D

I too have a holiday booked through Medinland ((booked online)), and am flying out to club mac next thursday..... ((can't wait)) :P

I have also been wondering the same as you, about whether or not my two (aged 5 and 3) will be able to take part in the 'kids club activities'

Once I am back home (going for a week) I will bump up this post again, and let you know about the kids clubs.

I cant post a link ((I have tried!!)).... but if you go to youtube, and in the search engine, type hotel jupiter, majorca..... it has a video of the hotel. I certainly think it has the WOW factor!!!! :D :D :D
