cheers

I was there 3 years ago, and thoroughly looking forward to the holiday. Just wondered what, if anything, had changed.
A holiday is what you make it and allow it to be. Iwish everyone would relax, we work all year for this. Think of the thousands of people who go to the complex every week and the small number of negative comments on the boards, mainly from couples who should know better . In everything in life, people always find it easier to moan than to compliment.
Helen, did you notice any of the surrounding area?. There was a few pubs just over the road, along from the SPAR (used to be Barney Rubbles, Britannia and Harp), as well as small amusement 'arcade' for kids. Did you notice if this is still the case? (as things change hands/close open etc).
Cheers,
trefor.
I agree totally with what you said, a holiday is what you make it. Everyone we spoke to whilst there were enjoying themselves, but these boards make it seem awful, coz only those who moan leave messages, come on, all those wiv good comments, leave some feedback!!

we returned from the hotel marte 24th june we had a fantastic time there our 2 girls 3 @ 9 didnt want to leave the complex theres so much going on we were very worried about the complex after reading some comments on this board but our worries soon disappeared we had no problems with the food or anything else it is very busy but large enough to have space go with the flow and enjoy it

hi returned from marte 27th june and absolutley loved it i couldnt even begin to say how much entertainment etc there was for kids and the food was fantastic plenty of choice for all the family there where 10 of us in total.any questions please ask.and i would definetly reccomend this complex and xx nasty xx that annoying song is called cho che wa my kids love it drives me mad
food excellent in restaurants(ate in saturno every night and had stalls for pizza(2 types), pasta (2 types), fresh made chickens, barbecued meat, and other usual buffet stuff.....late night munchie snacks at midnight in jupiter included chips available every night, chicken, lasagne, burgers.
daily snacks were plentiful and nice. lunch available in jupiter was lovely, one day we had 'english style' chicken crry (if u know what i mean!!). all the reps came in that day as they all love it.
pubs across the road are nice for odd change....quizzes, bingo , karaoke etc.
brill time.
ask any question if you want.
.
just got back today from the jupiter we all had a fantastic time we are all going back next year it started to get busier as we were leaving all the stories about it being bad are all rubbish.the only bad thing i found was our rooms could be doing with being done up,i went and seen a family room and what a difference they are nice rooms but expensive any quiestions just give me a shout
mark, you'll never believe this...me and my youngest daughter were in the'clubhouse' booking table tennis, and she looked at the hotel worker who was inputting the'surveys' on to her computer (the ones they say can win you a free holiday)..guess what name she happened to be entering at that exact moment?...mark scott.........100%truth, without a lie...it was spooky, man...............where did you sit during the day/night?...we sat between small kids pool and large saturno pool during day, and went between saturno, circus stage, marte and pubs across road at night.
what day did you see her put my name on the computer
we sat up at the childrens village in the morning and in the afternoon we sat at the jupiter pool,at night time we went between the jupiter stage and the circus stage and the childrens village.who did you go with was it cosmos, who did you fly with and what was the rooms like in the saturno
saturno rooms suppose same as rest, not the biggest in general - although we had good sized room as it was at the end of corridor with big corner balcony-(the end rooms were wider than rest and okay for four of us (2 kids 14 and 10).
saturno restaurant was good at night..not as big and spaced out . (always two types of pasta/pizza and fresh chickens etc.
cant remember exactlt the day but it was during our second week, think it was last wednesday or more prob thursday (think that is when we played table tennis)..we didn't know if your real name was mark scott, or just web name, but it was big coincidence as there were literally hundreds being entered on p.c.!!
god i wish i was still there
trev what were your flight times? i think the hotel were probably just puting all the names on there database
and yes, they were entering everyones survey, just a coincidence that i happened to see one filed in by you.
man , i cant believe the people who moaned about that holiday.
everyone on our bus loved it..nearly our full flight was at our hotel...two full coaches both ways from our hotel all for the one flight..everyone had a ball.
we were 8:35am from glasgow and 1:35pm from palma so they were good flight times we had a great holiday i am trying to get booked up for next year but first choice are wanting 6900 for 3 adults and 4 kids or i can do it flying with thomas cook and then accomadation with cosmos either getting the jupiter or suturno they want 4800 so dont know what we will do for next year
INVALID URL there prices are out for july 2007 and they are part of cosmos, hope this helps, you can then tie up with cheapie flights such as easyjet or bmi baby when they come out, I have just priced a room for 2 adults, 1 7 year old and 1 infant for 21 july 2007 for 14 nights and the total room price is £1204.00
Hi, you can do a DIY to the jupiter/saterno/marte on Well just booked up for the hotel again this year. Our 15 yr old daughter and 11 year old daughter had a ball last year (that was 2nd time there). Meant so much for us not to get the usual ''what will we do now'' from them every night.
Went to Cyprus in October and Protaras and its nightlife was amazing, but may be touch too hot for kids in July (as we can't pick and choose our summer holidays with the work! pity), slightly dearer and we are on strict budget this year.
Amazing deal from local Hamilton travel agent for us all. One of few hotels that include kids up to 16 as children. Got it cheaper than we got it the first time three or 4 years ago!
At least we know where we stand with the old cash, although not against going to the Britannia and Queens pub across the road for a wee game of pool/bingo and one of the Queen's famous curries.
No we aren't neds or chavs by the way!!

If you like it there go and enjoy yourselves. If you go somewhere else I bet you would be comparing it ALL the time and getting on everyone's nerves. ( I do that if I don't go to Cala Bona!!) Too early to count the sleeps yet. CBG
If you've got kid's then holidays are all about them, if they like it you've cracked it, there will be plenty of time to have your turn when they have left home. Enjoy!
Plenty of time coming up without the kids..just got to make the most of it when they still wnat to go away with their old uncool parents
Just good to have some peace, without the constant moaning about htis and that (the heat and lack of sleep play a part with the kids in that respect. Also can't beat the fact that so many kids of the same age go there.. at least the teenager can go 'talent' spotting.

come on - someone else must be going there
