I am actually from Northern Ireland but me and the other half wanna go away for the weekend next weekend to sort a few things out, all we want is something to do, walks or sights or whatever and maybe a bit of light entertainment at night, nothing mad but not completely dead either! I was thinking the south and there seems to be some hostels about with private rooms reasonably priced (did i mention we're both broke) so at least i know they exist but now its deciding where to go, its awful, im from Ireland and no nothing about the place! Anyone have any suggestions for good places in Ireland? Not too far down, dont think i could do Cork as its driving for a long long time! Also, should have mentioned, we're both pretty young, me 29 andf him 26, any recs gratefully appreciated, thanks
