Kontes is in the best position by far.

I personally havent stayed in either hotel.. but as John has already said Kontes is brilliant location overlooking the beach.. hasnt got a pool but minutes from the sand. I went to a turkish evening at the other place a couple of years ago and there were no other british to be seen, but im not sure if that is still the case.. and the pool i saw was quite small, although i think they have got at least 2 pools.... Cant imagine you will spend that much time in the hotel there's so much to see and do elsewhere so id go for cheap and cheerful..!

Thanks for your advice, decided to stay put and go with Kontes, for the money we have paid there will be no compaints, all there is to now is count the days and sort out our transfer from airport with the money i have saved.Cheers guys!!

Hi Mandii, When are you going?

Hi ya, we are going on 24th May for 1 week, if you remember we went the same time last year to Bitez on your recommendation and had a great time, this year we are trying Icmeler.

We're going on the 14th April for a week, then to Gumbet on the 14th May for 2 weeks.
Have you been to Icmeler before.?

No we have'nt but everybody says its fantastic so looking forward to going, hope our hotel is as good as the Manuela in Bitez, hubby really wanted to go back there, but i wanted to experience another resort.

Hi Mandii, we went to Icmeler about three years ago and enjoyed it very much. It was only for a week though, so didn't get to know the place well.
Hoping to see more on this trip.
You'll find it a little different to Bitez, but you should like it.
