ok this may be a silly visa question but here goes .... I am posting the handwritten forms to VFS and just wondered if i can track the progress on the VFS Global website or not? Or is it just Royal Mail this can be done?

if you do a handwitten application you don't get the web reference so the only bits you can track are on the Royal Mail system for delivery of your application and return of your documents.
So all you can do is give them a few days to process your application then keep checking with RM to see if your return reference is in the system.
If it is, that means your passport is on it's way back to you.
good job we sent them off early....guy said they were probably between the department that takes in the post and the department that issues the visas,but surely they should show somewhere in the system,,,as i said post office tracking shows they recieved and signed for them on the 5th
,,oh well at least they have found them
