Hi, I am still on here nearly every day,but nothing to say or ask at the moment. But i do enjoy browsing.

I keep dipping in and out of this forum to see what is happening.

Is anyone else trying the holiday websites to check prices for their favourite hotel and hoping that it hasn't gone up in price?

We ummed and ahhhed over a particular two weeks and when we decided we would go for it, there were no available rooms left - doh!

So we are looking either at the middle of November or going in February or March 2009.

Sydney we were the same - kept checking for next March. About 2 weeks ago the price came down and we booked. I am glad because the holiday has now gone up by over £200

Still here, but not much happening regarding Goa. We have booked so I have'nt even got to search for prices And as theres hardly any queries to answer for anyone it all seems quiet on the Goa front ...Keith

I pop by most days to see whats going on. Will have to start posting a bit more instead of being a "lurker"...

I dont think I could go a day without my fix of H/T it has become part of my every day life now and I want to thank you all for that just 2 yrs ago I could not use a puter now I have my own laptop and im on it everyday I know my spelling is bad but I bet it gives you all a laugh :rofl colleen

I log in everyday I am addicted and really miss the site when I cant get on it
I have been on a farm all day with my 2 grandaughters,I fed a lamb and had a ride on a tractor
and took a goat for a walk,it was really good

Like Irishcollen said, I need to come in every day, for my daily fix, I miss all the postings in the summer months. Mind you ive been having a look in General Enquiries and other things and its passing some time.

Like Gemma33 try to have a fix of teh message board everyday or atleast every other day. It reminds me of why I return to Goa every year, however it also reminds me not to visit with rose coloured specs, and accept the changes good and bad as it all adds to the experience. Once I feel the bad outways the good then I now its time to move on.

In the meantime everyone carry one posting through the summer on the forum and then hopefully the 08/09 season will arrive quicker!!

Nice to see the same old faces popping up, obviously bored out of their minds on this beautiful English summer day ie. raining cats and dogs in Durham.

Well I've been busy , fianally made the effort and booked our flights for next January. Flying Sri Lankan for the first time from Heathrow, heard lots of good reports so its done. Also booked BA , sounds bad after all the problems , but it only cost £180 return and then £30 per night at Travelodge Terminal 5.

Already booked our hotel last year, near the Nirvana, and the topic of many excellent comments on the site.

I must admit a lot of thought has gone into this holiday, mainly because of the problems in Goa, but I always knew we would go back but if things do not improve it may be the last. I will now wait anxiously for all the comments from the November/December visitors and keep my fingers crossed and hope that all is well.
