I have been to this hotel. It was about 4 years ago,we upgraded to all inclusive after about three days, thinking it would be cheaper in the long run. Mistake! As soon as we had our bands on we became invisible,it was so difficult to get served. The staff are the rudest I have ever come across. They didn't want to take your order for lunch at the snack bar, they didn't want to serve you in the bar, when they did there wasn't any alcohol actually in your drink. The AI did continue until we left the hotel though and we used a courtesy room for showers etc. After this experience I would certainly avoid this particular hotel chain

Nearly all the hotels in Turkey will offer you AI until you leave for the airport. You do have to vacate the room by 12 noon which is normal all over the world. They will also offer you facilities to take a shower and change your clothes prior to leaving for the airport.

Hi
You will find that all hotel rooms are contracted from 12.00 midday, therefore check out is also at the latest 12.00 on your final day. Some city hotels request an 11.00 checkout.
You booked and paid for your holiday with these conditions, therefore from the first day of your holiday your all inc board basis was available to you as from 12.00 midday on the first day of arrival, if you didn't arrive until 22.00 that night it is not the hotels or agents fault. therefore when you checked out at 12.00 on your last day, all services and installations that you contracted also finished.
My advise is that in the future always get an earlier flight that a 12.00 check in and out is more feasible.
The reason that the hotel could not offer a late check out is that your room was more than likely booked and the new guests could arrive at any time after 12.00 midday until 12.00 the next midday.
it is quite expensive to keep on cleaning staff jsut for a couple of rooms as there is all the laundry to take into consideration.
I hope this explaination helps, it is quite a common problem and it is always best to check if any hotel can offer late check outs, courtesy rooms and that you can purchase all inc on a daily basis.

Well if it's contracted from 12 mid day and the guests beforehand leave at 12 mid day how can the room possibly get cleaned? Infact I think we've always had to waint until 2 o clock for our rooms!

I ran a hotel in the UK for several years and our policy was that the room was vacated by 11am and re-let from 2pm to give us time to clean the rooms thoroughly. I think that's fairly standard practise.

We have just returned from a Thomson Gold hotel on all inclusive basis. We had to check out by 12 noon. Thomsons brochure states in the a-z under accommodation and resort that all inclusive ends when you check out of your room even if your flight does not leave until later that day. We only had a couple of hours to kill so it was not an issue. We did however go for lunch in the hotel, after checking with the rep, and as our favourite barmaid was on duty she waived the charge for a couple of beers.

we have been to a few first choice hotels, including holiday villages, and A/I ran out when you checked out the room at 12 noon.

We have never has any problems with using the al/inc when we have left our room. The hotel we were in when we went to Ibiza even set up a meal for us just before we left the hotel and we could still use all the facilities at the hotel, I can remember tho another hotel we stopped at in Gran Canary we had to be out of our room by 10am

I paid to keep the room before we went to Ibiza it cost me £38 but if you book it when you got to the hotel it was 50

Anyone arriving early hours of the morning have a room to go straight into therefore it's classed as your first night - otherwise they could make you wait until 10am to check in. You therefore make it to breakfast that first 'morning' (ie those arriving at 12noon have 'missed breakfast). The thing to do is count up the amount of breakfast, lunches, evening meals etc as you are entitled (I would assume) to 14 of each.

We recently returned from Benidorm after a 4 night full board break (Mon-Fri). We didn't arrive at the hotel until 2.30pm so missed breakfast/lunch on Monday. We did however have 4 breakfasts/evening meals. Our coach picked us up at 10am Fri. We only had 3 lunches so the hotel offered us a packed lunch.

Glynn ...

Confused by this ... if you arrived Monday afternoon ... why would you expect breakfast / lunch on first day ... surely your holiday starts Monday evening? :que

Hi Mark :-

I was trying to outline that although we arrived mid afternoon we still were able to have our 4 paid for daily meals ie 4 breakfasts, lunches and evening meals. For instance, we didn't/couldn't receive either breakfast or lunch on Monday but we were eligible for both on Friday. Had we arrived just after breakfast Monday we wouldn't have been offered the packed lunch Friday.

I know it sounds complicated, but whatever time of day you arrive you should still be eligible for your alloted meals ie 4 or 14. Hope this makes sense but please shout if not.......... as I know it can take some explaining sometimes :cheers
So going back to the original posters question although they arrive during early evening this is counted as their first night due to the accommodation being available.
