Hope you are on the mend now Sanji, theres nowt worse than feeling rough when your'e away is there, i hope its not spoilt things for you too much. Time for a Pacharran or two methinks gal!! E'vonne and me were both ill at the end of our Beni visit in Jan, so we are keeping our fingers crossed for this trip....although she has got a bit of a "throat" coming on already!! Hope the staff at Regente being kind to you. Usually have a good laugh with Roberto on reception and Juan Manuel too!

Take care, Best Regards - Taggy :)

Hi Sanji,
Sorry to hear of your ailments, I can sympathise with the ulcers, me and the bairn suffer from them on a regular basis, they'll have caused the sore throat too. Poor you.

Thanks peeps.
I'm ok and it's just this persistent cough that I've now got that's annoying.
I think it's all these little ailments that you sometimes "pick up" that takes the "edge" off the fun....especially when you have a few running at the same time....hope that makes sense.

But, holidays mean crowds and crowds mean infections floating around, my resistance/immunity must be low.

Hi Sanji

Sorry to hear you've been 'under the weather'. Hope you're feeling better now. Ulcers are nasty painful things aren't they and can really drag you down.. Hope they've cleared up now.

Enjoy the rest of your holiday, can't wait to hear all about it!

Hi Sanji

I feel sorry for you having a sore throat as five years ago we started with a sore throat in Benidorm then had a terrible cough which it took us weeks to get rid of once we got home.

This year I had the dreaded upset stomach which was going round the Flamingo Oasis, my grandson had it the following day and my daughter had it later. As my husband was in hospital at the time it was difficult for us to visit him.

Hola

I'm home, landed last night around 8.30 pm, then another hour in a taxi up the M1......still with the cough.
One thing about leaving Alicante Airport early evening is that it was really civilised and we had to book in terminal 2...then the long walk to terminal 1 where all the action takes place to depart from gate 3....coughing all the way
This morning I have just uploaded all the photos and video footage onto my computer and I will try and sort them out pronto, especially the construction footage.
I think the most memorable thing about this trip will be the visit to Benidorm Palace on Dave's birthday, they are celebrating 30 years (1977-2007) and the evening was brilliant.
Pity you can't take in camcorders or take photos...but I did sneak a few photos
It was nice to meet Garyb and Mary once again, this time we spent a bit more time with them and I did get him to buy the first round

I didn't spend too much time on the computer, the internet is a rip off in the hotel Regente, but that's not the hotels fault, it is the company that the Med Playa group have a contract with because it is the same in the (Med Playa) Hotel Pez Espada in the Costa del Sol....10 mins for a euro.!

When my house doesn't resemble a bomb site with clothes all over the place, then I will try and get this construction footage on the board ASAP.

Hi Sanji
Looking forward to new Benidorm photos and video shows.
Sorry your holiday was marred by being unwell.
Hope your cough soon goes.
When do you return or is it Costa del Sol next time?
As you unpack I'm beginning to get ready to go to Costa Brava this week.
