I think Puerto Pollensa is one of the nicest resorts on the Island, it's family friendly, very clean and has a lovely long beach with a marina to watch the boats. It's flat and quiet. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants. The scenery is lovely. I think you have made a good choice.
The Flora Apartments seem to get a good writeup.

The resort is nice and flat for your parents. Depending on your childrens age there will be enough to keep them amused. My 2 last year (age 10 & 4) liked to play football in the square whilst we had a quiet drink (with all the other children of every nationality). The youngest liked to watch the locals building the amazing sand sculptures on the Pine Walk - he would just sit mesmorised for about half an hour. there is an arcade with airhockey, shooting games etc... and the boats in the marina were great to walk around at night and imagine which one we will buy when we win the lotto!!! There are lots of little stalls on the Pine Walk selling jewellery, the children can paint pots, portraite painters etc... Oh and it is great for people watching.
Restaurants were all excellent - we did take colouring pencils for the youngest as sometimes there was a slight wait as they were really busy. Staff were always welcoming to the children and they never minded them getting up and looking at the lobsters in the water etc...
Enjoy , it really is a lovely place.

You have booked exactly the right place. Now you can relax and look forward to it. Enjoy :D
Do make sure you visit the old town of Pollensa as you will probably enjoy that as well as the port area.

we have just returned from pp and believe it is the most idyllic place we have ever been to, lots of great restaurants, its not the cheapest place we have ever been to but it is lovely, try trios tango los zarzales the tapas on the promenade and many more besides, if you need any specific advise ask away.

Thanks for all your positive comments.
One thing I would like to know is are there some ATM's in PP, to withdraw cash?.

The majority are in the area of the main Pollensa road as it runs off of the roundabout at the Marina. That's where all the banks are. As stated, there are lots.

There was an ATM in the square last year

I can only ditto what everyone has said about PP. We went last year for the first time and are returning again this August, we never usually go to the same place twice :D
