I have just returned from the above resort. It was beautiful, the apartments were called Hotel Orquidea, they were fab. The resort is very relaxed. Lots of places to eat not only on the front but also 4 roads back from the promenade there is a large street full of restaurants. This road gets closed off at 7pm to stop cars from coming down it. Would recommend Daffers restauraunt which is in this street. I would also recommend Harndia (I think this is how you spell it.). This is on the promenade opposite the beach, not far from the Hotel Orquidea. This is lovely too and they cook lots of fish.

We went to Es Cana for the day and found this to be much cheaper to eat and drink compared to Santa Elluia as this can by more expensive.

This resort is very much a family resort and couples a like. I would not recommend this for bunch of blokes or women looking to go clubbing.

Oh a good tip about travellers cheques. On the promenade more towards the marina end by Sanatras restaurant there is an exchange bureau do not use it, they do not tell you commission, The xchange rate outside indicates that that you are getting a great rate for your sterling but in reality you are not, they are a complete rip off
