SamanthaJ, I too would be dissapointed with a pebbly rocky beach, as although im more of a pool person, the kids love the beach and sea, I did notice in 2007 brochure that the latest Artist Impression showed the beach to look a little more bumpy! oh well no going back like sp55 said there is a better beach not too far away, we will be hiring a car for a few days so will use that as days we venture out for mickd's video beach.

sp55 please carry on informing us of the latest in Kos, the bicycle remark was only said as a lighthearted joke from Jochick, thats us brits for you. At the end of the day, we have all paid a lot of money for 1-2 weeks in the sun at a hotel that we expect to have the top facilities all up and running, and it will be a huge dissapointment to us if this is not so. This forum has been a great way fcr us to vent our frustrations, anger, to laugh and to cry, ive made some great friends through this forum and to be honest dont know what im gonna do when I get back as after my initial post of my holiday, I wony have my KABC forum to read everyday

You are right Michelle, i love to catch up on the topic to see how everyone is doing. It's proably because everyone is looking forward so much to the holiday.

SP55 if you do come back please could you let us know where the lovely beach is that you can walk 5 minutes to coz ill probaly go in the wrong direction and end up walking miles getting lost.

Piggypacker it should be good fun to celebrate a birthday whilst on holiay, especially as it is a 40th and the world cup is on. My husbands is on 20th June if you are still there then.

Ok I'm sorry , it's just that when you've paid over £4,000 for a holiday and things are'nt going as planned, you tend to get a bit sceptical when people say negative things about something you've been looking forward to. With quite a few people no longer going it doesn't take much now to make people get out their brochures and start looking for an alternative holiday destination. Don't know about you lot, but i usually really enjoy the weeks running up to my holiday, but this has certainly put the dampners on things.

sue ive added you to the list, quite a few of us going on the 14th now, what date is the first England match? how great will that be, watching the footie with the sun belting down, drink in hand. Our little boys (16 & 19 months) already have their England kits ready.

Jochick, I understand what you mean, it hasnt helped us get into the pre holiday mood, although saying that when I made my payment yesterday I did get excited when she said "thats it now all paid, your tickets will be through roughly 2 weeks before you travel"

Doesn't help when you've just packed up smoking either

Dear all, i think the point here is that there are people out there who take great pleasure in giving mis-information just for the sake of it. You dont know that Sp55 lives in Kos or has ever been to Kos. It may be someone who is trying to wind us all up for a sick joke. Hopefully this is wrong and if SP55 provides photos then that will prove the case. If not............

Hello everyone, I havent posted on this forum for a couple of weeks but I keep reading everyones posts.

I no its easy to say but try not to worry about the hotel being ready Its got to be now the way I see it they let us no five weeks before we were due to go that the Hotel wouldnt be ready so Im sure you would have had the dreaded phone call by now if it wasnt going to be ready for the 24th.

Just relax now and look forward to a wonderful holiday, im still a little bit gutted that Im not going to Kos but hey what the hell, never been to Turkey either so theres a first for me.

Im sure there will be a few teething problems but hopefully nothing that will stop you from having the time of your life and Ill be watching for your posts afterwards to make sure you all enjoyed it.

Good luck to you all and heres to you all having a fantastic time, just wish I could have gone on that pub crawl would have seriously embarrassed the kids, which I love to do.

Suukay go to the first choice web site, it clearly states that the hotel is in Tingaki. It also states 4.5 km from Tingaki, but not everybody reads the fine print.
As for photos, I am unable to upload them on this web site. I think holiday thruths checks the ip addresses so poeple do not do any self promoting, but to those who have an e-mail address in their profile I will be glad to e-mail them to you. Except to freebird apache. I have nothing to prove to you. If you do not want to believe me that is your business.

SP55, all you have to do is mail me the photos. If you dont want to fine then i wont lose any sleep.

If SP55 mails anyone the photos please let me know so i can then apologise for being a cynical ass.

Right now I have all the time in the world, and this forum helps me relieve my boredom. In two to three weeks when I start working fourteen hours day I will no longer be able to contribute to this forum. So any questions you have make them quick.

I was in Zante when the Geeks won Euro 2004. they went mad. Everyone had a great time. Fireworks and shot guns being fired into the air from busy bars!!!

Lets hope they`ll celbrate as much when England win the World Cup!!!
