I am very worried, and can't believe KosABC will open in a month now (the last information I got from Go Best (the Dutch division of FC) was that opening will be on May 21st).
The pictures look terrible! And the beach, what a difference than the lovely artist impressions in the brochure. I am not a Bob the Builder, but anyone can see there is a lot of work to be done this month.
I just sent a shitty e-mail to Go Best, we are seriously considering to cancell. Maybe next year, because I believe if everything is finished, you can have a super holiday over there in the KosABC.
Waiting for the Go Best reaction, let's see what they come up with. I'll let you know
Last 2 years we went to a Magic Life-hotel (in Tunesia and Belek-Turkey), that was soooo good.

I reckon security will be beefed up now at the site. I am sure that on the Kef ABC forum, the person taking those photographs is now taking distant photos as he cant get near the site!
It is very suspicious that on the production of the photos, the website stops offering holidays to this hotel. I am wondering if thier lies have been brought to the puplics attention by inout from our freind SP55 and FC's legal department has told them to hold bookings until they know for sure when the hotel will open? Youn ever know, this website might be being monitored by a worried FC manager who is going to be responsible for all the compensation for three failed Aqua Beach Clubs!

well if it is being monitored by a worried FC Director, my comment to him would be - get your butt in gear, be a man and sort this problem out at both aqua beach clubs, stop playing mind games with us all, make a decision now pull the plug or give a realistic opening date and allow for us all to be reallocated decent hotels for what we paid originally so that we can settle back and concentrate on getting back that pre-holiday excitement.

From what has been seen, there is an army of workers 24/7 working on the Kef ABC.........Im sure this is the similar case in Kos......
Trucks coming and going, diggers coming and going......
I dont doubt that the workers are busting their guts trying to get the place finished but even I, who is not going away till Aug, wants to jump ship!
Anyone with an ounce of sense know that you cant throw a waterpark together in a couple of weeks........checks need to be done, safety tests need to be completed, the foundations would need to settle etc etc.......
I dont like my odds for Aug so i have my fingers and toes crossed for the people who are going June/July...........

I think i'm going to jump ship. all this worry is really spoiling things for me, i think FC are being really unfair not coming upfront and giving us an update,which is what we so rightly deserve. We've all spent an awfull lot of hard earned money on our holidays. I for one. will never travel with First Choice again, this has been an absolute nightmare. I will hold out until my balance is due in hope that i can at least get my deposit back, i have completely lost trust in FC now 
Have tried to use link to view the photos of KosABC but they have disappeared! Is this another FC conspiracy to hide the truth or am I just looking in the wrong place??? (Notice the upload site was last edited 21/4, which is only 52 mins old at the time of posting this message!) 
Oh am I ever glad that I was cancelled and had no choice as to what to do. The buildings look okay but the waterpark? Although may just not be visible from the photos. (Thanks Michelle for the e-mail).

If anyone does cancel we're at the Titanic (yes I know - holiday cancelled and then a hotel named the Titanic...) Hotel & Resort in Lara Beach in Turkey from 19 May for 2 weeks and will gladly share a beer or 10 with you...
Otherwise the 24th-ers and 31st-ers keep the faith.
This really has turned into an interesting Forum with unexpected twists and turns. All we wanted was a good holiday!

A similar incident occurred with another forum on the Crete ABC who had to delete the forum. Have you been approached by FC with legal action or something?

it is a bit strange that the pictures have been taken off.
If they do decide to remove this topic without any notice, maybe everyone should continue on another holiday discussion site such as trip advisor or something so all contacts are not lost and we can try and keep up to date on the situation.

Yes I agree Sue Warrior. If this does happen, I will set up a new forum called Real Holiday truths, although I am sure this will not be the case. Maybe the admin are concerned that the pictures are making people feel anxious for thier holiday when they should be looking forward to the event?

Dear all, DONT PANIC!!!! the photos have not been removed from the forum!! They are now filed in the correct album. If you scroll through the photo gallery you will see albums for differrent places about five pages in is the GREECE album. In this you will find the KOS album, which contains the photos!!! They only stay in the upload section untill HT has checked them to make sure they are decent and proper, and then they file them to the relevant album.
