Hi there
We holidayed at the Kouzalis in May of last year and would be happy to give you our opinions.
firstly, the hotel is clean and modern with plenty of amenities (tennis court, well-equipped gym etc) and the pool terrace and surroundings are really nice.
The food left a lot to be desired (though I've read in certain reviews that this has been somewhat rectified) and the entertainment was pretty dire though this was due to early season teething problems. For the first few days there was one 'entertainer' who was replaced by a boy and girl from the Czec Republic and Holland respectively. They where so embarrasing we wanted the ground to swallow
us up on
their behalf! (why does this happen?).
Needless to say, they where both sacked within a week and were replaced by a lovely couple who did their best to salvage the last few days (although they lacked any real 'drive').
This is only our experience and I'm sure the situation improved throughout last season and anyway, if you're visiting this October it will probably be altogether different, entertainment-wise.
One more thing -- it's close to a small sand/shingle cove which has massive rocks just below the surface which can be quite dangerous when swimming. Great for snorkelling though (it's like the Great Barrier Reef under there!).
Hope this has been of help. There's lots more to tell so if you need any more info, please feel free to PM us.
