hi everyone
was wondering if anyone has heard of these apartments as staying there july 2006 and quite worried as cant find any reviews on it and it is only a 2 star rated hotel
thanks
La Era Park is situated on Calle Verano, overlooking Parque De L'Aiguera. Facilities are limited, hence the rating. For example, there is no restaurant and the bar/snack area may only be opened during certain hours of the day.
The location is excellent, just on the edge of Benidorm Old Town and very convenient for the nightlife of the Levante area. It's on a bit of an incline and streets in the vicinity are very narrow, meaning that the complex cannot be accessed by tour operator's coaches. However, there is no problem for cars, taxis and minibuses.
Some of the higher floor apartments have excellent sea and old town views.
La Era Park website can be found HERE.

There is a really cheap Mercadona (Supermarket) just around the corner to stock up on your groceries and it had a nice little cafe (Just like our local Tescos ) I'm sure if your expectations are not too high then you'll be pleased with La Era Park.

I haven't stayed in La Era Park but I have stayed in Michelangelo Apartments which at the side of La Era Park and Prima Vera Apartments which is across the road. The apartments in that area are pretty basic but as in a previous post it mentioned the Mercadonna which is not far away and right next door th La Era Park is a 24 hour bar called Michelangelos, they do food and they have karioke every night. Their bar b que's are out of this world. If you find that it's not your cup of tea, it's also a good place for the 1st drink and the last (3 or 4)
stayed in LA era Park wase not to impressed, the apartment was ok, but i dont think we had a balcony.the pool area was nice, and the staff were very friendly.it was just the area we didnt like,a bit out of the way for us

hi elisha & paul, stayed at la era park summer 2004 and really enjoyed it even though the acommodation is basic its very clean...the pool area is really nice and is aimed mainly for english families and is within easy walking distance to many bars and restaurants.
Hi stayed in these appts in 2003, they are in a good location if you like the old and new town, we do and found these ideally situated. However they are not luxurious by far, but would stay at them again, they are clean and comfortable and you obviously dont expect superior quality hence 2* accom so go and have a good time we did!
Anymore info on La Era would be helpful. Staying there in June 2006 with a few mates. Last time we stayed at the Piccaso apartments down towards the other end of New town
ive read many things on la era park but im worried that it is too far away from the new town. how far away is it to walk to the square in the new town? anyone with any information would be apreciated.
A 2 or 3 minute walk downhill will take you to the start of Calle Gerona. From there, 10-15 minutes walk will take you to The Square. A taxi from La Era Park to The Square would take only a few minutes, and would probably cost no more than €3.
we stayed in the la era about 2 yrs ago we walked to the square at night it only took about 10 mins got a taxi back though
Also is anyone in Benidorm around the 13th June?
i havent been able to get many reviews of la era park. im going in july and am hoping to hve a fun holiday but as many people are saying its in a nice quiet area its making me wonder wether we have gone for the right place yet people are saying it suits younger people. could anyone give me an idea what to expect in the july and what age goes there?
Hi Cevxx, whilst The Era Park apartments aren't really central for the new town, it would only take you about 20 minutes to walk to the square from there which is where all the life is. It would only cost a few euros in a taxi if you couldn't be bothered walking. I believe that in the summer months they are frequented predominantly by young people. I haven't personally stayed at these apartments but visited a friend who was. They were fairly basic but adequate and more importantly they were clean.
Afriend of mines son has been to book a holiday with thomas cook and has been given the la era park can anyone tell if theese apartments are up the yellow brick road .Im sure ive saw them before up that way thanks all mazza ...ps not getting good write up lol
no they are nearer to old town not far from the new town hall stayed there a few years ago when they were building the town hall across the road from the primavere
