I want to take my husband and 3 year old son camping in the Lake District for the May Bank Holiday (yes I know we're mad going at such a busy time!!)
Can anyone recommend a campsite near to Bowness. We love walking and the beautiful scenery, but really need somewhere practical for our 3 year old.
Are there any fairly flat sites - I have been told about Park Cliffe, but I heard that most of the pitches are on a slope.
Any suggestions will be gratefully received
