When ever I try to book cheep flights the price always goes up we fly from manchester how do you get the flights discounted what sites.....If you book Orleans as a B Connected member ( I think you can join online)these are the prices I have just logged in and this was the price booked directly with the hotel.... We went to Tenerife last Easter and that is Why we booked for Easter in Vegas this year No comparison ........................

I also looked up other hotels but couldn't see much. We are booked for September for 15 nights (via LA and driving in, so about 12 nights in Vegas), hence thinking another trip would be overkill. It would also be a bit of a cheek, considering we're just back from India. Should I be worrying about what people will think though........

Sorry Wazzer, forgot to answer you question about how to find cheap flights. Sign up for Kayak alerts. Then they send you daily alerts for your chosen dates, but they will also give you dates when it is cheapest. That date happened to be around the time we have off work for May/June, although my alert is actually set for September. I'd never have found it otherwise
Vegas! Would love to go, think it would turn out to be an very expensive trip though. Its somewhere you have to visit at least once in your life

I have a job now!! Started last week after three months unemployed, although I'm contracting, which makes holidays more difficult, but Vegas is now a possibility again. I haven't been on here for a few weeks as I couldn't read other peoples joy at Vegas trips knowing I won't be going myself.....but hopefully that will change now if all goes ok!

Good to see you back on here TeeCee - I did wonder what came of your job situation as I knew that ages ago you thought you were going to be made redundant. Excellent news about the job, and sounds like you will get your annual fix after all! Not sure if you read about me struggling to get a flight this year at a sensible price, we're going via LA for a wee change, so we'll be spending a few nights in LA, but added a few extra days and will be in the US for 15 nights this time around. Go on 31st August, so a little earlier than usual too. Hope you get booked soon, hopefully there will be sensible flights from other airports.

The final "Big Elvis" show at Bill's will be 30 April, 2012. Big news. Bigger talent.
