That FO deal in May is great, anything under £200 for those is good, if doing nothing over that weekend give FO a try, last one I did I went Solo for 3n Dec and had a great time, party atmosphere never got off the ship it was too cold in Rouen.

The price for inside is now almost reasonable($1200), not rock bottom but in range as a deal on this itinerary. Anything else is nearly double and up but 200 just came of the balconies, still plenty left and final is due Monday so anyone interested now is the time to start watching closely for the sell off.

They had one AE(suite) that they put on sale Thurs so one of our group grabbed it for $2999pp which was cheaper than the balcony they were in.

Thanks, I did check but decided to pay the extra this time.

We wanted the AFT location which were cancellations Sat. This would have needed a phone call to Best price(4 hours till they opened), they don't always give such big discounts over the phone and could have lost the cabins. The other option was to book and then try to switch, same issue the cabins may have gone and last time I did an upgrade with BP they charged more than NCL so ended up with no discount anyway.

There is another discount site that does include picking cabins but forgot which it was and have no bookmark, research needed.

The discount book is worth about $35 to us, 1 free drink and a bogof restaurant voucher for the first night(we always eat in Cagnies first night) the rest are discounts on stuff we don't get/use, had 2 books on the last trip could not give the vouchers away.

Can you or anyone else please recommend a trustworthy US agent for booking Cruises. I wish to book an NCL on Spirit from Boston on 14 or 21 August 09 but no UK ones offer it yet. Even NCLs own UK website does not but all the US ones do.

I used http://www.cruisecompete.com last year to get some agents to feed me their offers and then picked http://www.bestpricecruises.com for two bookings which have very good on-line rates and a good web interface(register for the best prices).

http://www.vacationstogo has a uk 0800 phone number and seems to have good reputation

This year I have booked my NCL cruise direct so I have more control the BPC bookings went OK but dealing by email was slower than I liked we will see how NCL does direct.

If you book early then having direct access for price drops could be better, BPC prices on all changes were more than NCL wanted(admin fees probably) so if you want to upgrade after booking the initial savings seem to go away.
