Not sure how much Khrisnan charges but will get on the case and try to find out for you.
I wouldn't imagine it costing a fortune....but in saying that VAT came in back in May so maybe prices might increase when we get back next season!!!

Returning to Goa in March next year (wish I could go sooner), and intend to learn enough Konkani before I go to hold a conversation when I get there. Can anyone advise as to where I could buy instructional CDs (Linguaphone perhaps?) or books to help me learn the language, I have looked in all the likely places with no luck so far.

I remebered a site which had a very good konkani tutor and thought maybe I would copy a few words here, but its really huge and its best that you guys visit this website and have a look at the Konkani Tutor. This is 100% Goan Konkani !

When the beggars/beach sellers get too pushy I was told to say firmly " hakka nakka "(phonetic spelling ).I think it means " no thankyou" acoording to the massage walla that told me !
