Tomorrow Monday 11th June the local emergency services of Benalmadena are conducting an emergency explosion exercise at the Hotel Puerto, Benalmadena (plaza sol y mar - 24 hr Square area)
There will be many emergency service vehicles present and the area may be evacuated, this is ongoing until 10 am on Tuesday 12th June.
THIS IS A DRILL ONLY ...so anyone in the area or arriving in the area, don't be alarmed, but it would be advisable to avoid this area as it will be congested.
This is a major practise run in case of the real thing and to have notification of this in La Carihuela...I presume it is going be one big controlled explosion that Local Emergency Services are going to create.

One thing I always think about in these circumstances is what if a real bombscare happened during the specified drill time?
