Im looking to go camping around Easter
I normally go to North Wales but fancy a change
Can anyone recommend a nice place thats easy to reach from Liverpool
We will have a car going but not while we are there so it has to be within easy reach of things to do
Any ideas would be great
Thanks

There are several good sites around Keswick in the Lakes. I know someone who goes regularly to Castlerigg and we have stayed at Keswick Camping and Caravanning site which is right in the town. Our daughter had just turned 2 when we were there and we did a lot of walking, round the lake, along disused railway lines etc.
Thanks Elaine, i will check them out
loads of campsites
plenty to do
great pubs usually in the middle of nowhere
this might help

Also you really should be Camping and Caravanning Club members so the Big Red book wil have lots of sites too
Thank you very much for your reply that sounds great.
