These apartments don't have any reviews on - has anyone stayed there and have any feedback. Only there for 3 nights and they look ok on the internet.
Cheers
http://www.alpharooms.com/los_cardones_in_tenerife.aspx# If you just Google los cardones tenerife reviews you should find some more.
I think you must mean Los Cardones not Cordones. There are some reviews on alpharooms -
Cheers thanks
Hi - bit late in posting a reply! I stayed at these apartments last year for a week in August with a friend and 4 teenage daughters! Too quiet for the girls but I found it quite nice. Pool is quite small and not really any facilities like some of the others i.e. no pool bar etc - all there is are a drinks machine and ice cream machine which are invariably empty. The rooms are very nice - cleaned regularly - lots of cockroaches tho - i know you should expect them in Tenerife but i have stayed in other places and not seen a single one so luck of the draw i guess. Pool was out of action for 3 days and no alternative offered so we had to use the beach. Staff were friendly but not around much and the security guards seemed fine. Quite a small complex so depends what you are looking for. In a good area tho - near to lots of bars and restaurants!
Just back... and these apartments are a bargain... clean and tidy, basic and great VFM. Pool is small but clean... ideal as a base to explore, and central for all parts of the great area...
some frinds of ours are thinking of staying at this complex
they have 3 children 3,6 & 10 years
so a couple of questions
1
is thera a bar nearby that does kids style mini discos in august and september
2
at the front of los cordones there are a flight of steps which are quite high
for a three year old
is there any other way of getting in to the complex from the rear or from the shopping centre next door
thanks for any replies
Having been to PLDA countless times I'm pretty sure I've seen them but just can't place exactly where they are some reports say there opposite The Dubliner, ideal if they are, but we thought that was another complex of apartments.
Having had our September week, cancelled thanks to XL were looking at a week in March and have seen some good deals for these apartments and there are some decent reports about them on Travel Republic.
Appreciate any feedback.
Here's a map showing your apartments behind Parque Santiago 2
We visited the apartments for last New Year and they were excellent. They are in a great position oppsite the Patch. If you have ever seen the restaurant Sugar and Spice, the entrance is up some steps above it. They were originally called Colonial Village which was one of the 1st timeshare complexes, hence the good position. Most of the apartments are privately owned and we had a 2 bedroomed detached villa set in its own grounds. They are slightly dated and could do with a refurb but you will not be dissapointed. PM me and i'll let you know anything you want to know.
