Pilots at both Lufthansa and German Wings have voted for strike action between 22 and 25 February.
Lufthansa say it will badly affect them and will publish a timetable of what will remain of their service sometime on Friday 19th. Does not involve foreign subsidiary companies like Swiss or Lufthansa Italia.
German Wings say most of their flights will be OK.
In both cases you'd better check ASAP if you have a reservation during this time!
Well that didn't go to plan! The strike has now been suspended (but might restart on 8th March). The timetable for Tuesday 23rd will be a bit hit and miss with planes in the wrong place.
Next outbreak is announced as 13-16 April.
they've now agreed to go to arbitration and called the second strike off as well. So all's OK then.....
......actually, no! The German air traffic controllers have now said they will stike but won't announce actual times until 24 hours before!
