i am flying with Thomson and got 20kg 's which is great if going for 2 weeks , but i'm only going for a week

Can you put anything in your hand luggage?? Wear your heaviest clothes and shoes! Sometimes hand luggage allowance is generous, watch the sizes or otherwise pay up! I would never make 15kg last year managed 17kg only a week tho' CBG

I have got 20 kilos with british midland to malaga

Just got a new hand luggage bag on wheels. Should be able to manage now.

Just make sure the hand luggage bag is not too large - airlines do vary as to the size. Also there may be a weight limit on the hand luggage so be careful if there is.

One tip is to colour co-ordinate you packing. Take clothes that will mix and match with each other. Pointless taking a top for instance that will perhaps only go with one bottom. I find that loose black or neutral trousers for the evening are a must - you can wear numerous colours with them and nobody will no that they are the same trousers each evening.
