Santa ponsa is a favorite resort for irish folk, with plenty of irish bars. Weather wise temps from 10c 50f to 21c 70f but on average mid 50's to mid 60's nights are cold with lows down to -2 but on average in the 40's. Quite a few wet days as well. Not the best to go. The island should look nice with all the spring flowers out. You better off going somewhere like the red sea, sharm in egypt temps will be in the 80's with plenty of sun.

Check here you see the weather going back 10 years.

We were in Puerto Pollensa Feb 23 - Mar 23 of this year. Lots of sunny days when shorts-t-shirts were OK, but cold evenings when a sweater and jacket were a must. Cold during the night so blankets on the bed. Very little rain apart from a huge storm, lasting several days, which nearly shifted the island off its foundations. I personally would not hesitate to go back at that time.

Check out the web address and look back to 1997 onwards to give you average temps and idea of what the weather is like. You can't just go on 1 years weather.

hi vikkilou a gang of us went to Magaluf 2nd April last year for a few days, the weather was very cold during the evening, even during the day it was cold , although when the sun came out it was warmish. still need to wear jeans and coat/ jacket in the day.We have booked to go back 17th march as it happens. not all bars are open , but we always stick to the same bars anyway .not sure about irish bars but i'm sure you will enjoy yourselves. We always stay in the Sol Guadalupe which is a fantastic hotel, unfortunately I don't think it is open that early in the year.

Santa Ponca has a lot of Irish Bars, but otherwise the resort will be very quiet in March.

Magalluf and Palma Nova will be busier, but there are fewer Irish Bars. Would recommend Mrs Doyles in Magalluf for the 17th March. People come from all over the Island to see Mick the Fiddler on Paddy's Night, and this is his bar. If you do stay at Guadaloupe it's about 5 minutes walk away. (Wave as you go by)

Cheers

Adam
