my mum and dad and their friend are due to fly out to goa on saturday evening - they got a phone call from the travel agents yesterday to say that manos can no longer offer them the accommodation booked!
they have been to the travel agents and manos gave 3 different reasons as to why the accommodation has been cancelled
i personally think they have overbooked - they tried palming them off with a lower standard rooms but they've refused.
mum and dad have been to goa 5 times and know personally the owners of the hotel they were supposed to be staying in so they will get a true explanation when they arrive
luckily enough mum and dad have spoken to a guy in goa who owns a bar and they have got rooms with him but manos are only offering £40 each compensation
surely if manos are not fulfulling the contract they should be offering more
They usually pay very low compensation, whilst they expect you to pay a great deal if you were unfortunate enough to have to cancel your holiday.
Not a lot you can do about.
