Hi Simon, from my knowledge I went in 2006 and I think I remember Turunc dolmus' being green i think but not 100%. Although I took a boat taxi over to it which is much more scenic :)
So id say take the boat taxi but if its not your thing then i remember them being green but not as frequent as Icmeler dolmus'

the turunc dolmus is white with Turunc written on it. All the village buses are the same. They go from the station which is 2 blocks away from Tansas on the dalaman road.

The Turunc Dolmus runs every half hour and costs 4YTL each way.
I have done the Taxi boat and the Dolmus and both have their merits.
Go to Turunc by Taxi boat and return on the Dolmus.

Hi, Simon
Yes there are both water taxis and buses from Marmaris to Turunc. The buses run about every hour at least and are white minibuses, but as we were staying in Turunc, I'm afraid we dont know where in Marmaris the depot is. The boats are about the same frequency. It was TL5 each in May this year. :D :D

Thanks for all your help , we done the trip a couple of weeks ago we waited outside migros but the dolmus went straight past as it was so full so we went across the road and agreed a fee for a taxi , it was 40ytl but was for 5 of us in which he also stopped twice on the way to take some photos of the view of icemeler and turunc from high in the mountains which was really nice of him , and there was no hurry . When we got to turunc we had a great day first we went down to the beach which is lovely the water is crystal clear here , then we took a look around the selection of shops , to get home my partner did'nt fancy the high mountain road again so decided on the water taxi which runs on every hour . All in all it was agreat day and i would reccomend anyone going to marmaris to try this

I went to Turunc 2 weeks ago for the first time despite visiting Marmaris for the last 15 years! We caught the dolmus on the main road but as others have said seats were a premium. Loved the ride and managed to get some reasonable pictures even out of the window whilst the dolmus was moving.

We loved the day there so much that we went back during our second week, we thought we might manage to get a seat if we caught it at the bus station, however 2 of us still had to stand.

Overall, a great day out for little money that we will certainly repeat next year.
