Hi Everyone
We live in South London and I'm an electrician working in Westminster and my O/H is a catering manager in the Met.
We are going back to Candolim on 6th April flying out of Gatwick with First Choice and staying at Silver Sands.We learnt so much on this forum last year as I browsed it for about 2 months before we went and everyone was right-Goa is a special place

I know that its had a bad run recently what with deaths and some muggings and the rise in prices and the cold weather

but if enjoy your holiday and come home safe I know that a lot of people will be going back next year. We should be used to these things living here in Britain

Anyway 29 days left and it and cant come sooner

Hi everyone,

I'm Dave and am married to the lovely Sue.
Only recently found this site but we both love Goa
We have bought an apartment in Arpora ( hence my screenname ) but unfortunately only get to spend a couple of weeks at a time there due to work commitments

Anyway glad to be aboard and hope to hear from you guys soon

We have just returned after 4 weeks in India Delhi Agra and Goa,we spent our last week
at Arpora stayed at the Royal Goan Resort along side the Baga River :sun2

My name is Sue and i am married to Arpora Dave. Only just joined the site and look forward to meeting you all - be it on here or in person in Goa. We are travelling out on the 17th March for two weeks. Wish we could stay longer but work won't let us :cry

wondering if mollies can handle a full house, looks like a busy night. well folks we fligh out tomorrow and not looking forward to it, sun sand sea and curries i m going to hate it 2 weeks of hell to one and all have a good holiday if i get delly belly i might log on while there n send some info if i get chance take care and safe trip one and all have a good one . cheers stav

We have an appartment at Haathi Mahal in Cavalossim, I don't know if you know it? it's down in the south, not far from Leela Palace and The Holiday Inn.

Hi Steve we stay in North Goa at the Marinha Dourada in Arpora. Lots of people on here stay in the South, so you will have lots to discuss. What date in March are you going?

14th March for 2 weeks, we normally go around then or last 2 weeks of November.

Hi folks i'm Fran, and i live in Goa and have done for the past 6 years with my husband, and at present my daugther, her partner and my three oldest grandchildren, my son is presently aboard working in Germany but his children are in the UK of whom i miss dearly.
Even with the property situation here :cry

there is still lots of things i love about the place, most of its people, just enjoy the laid back attitude, most of the time they are horizontial

but its like anywhere we all have our pet hates, here its the bread man and his horn at 6.15am every single morning 365 days of the year bless!!!!!!waiting around for people to come, horns, power cuts etc etc but i'm here so it cant be that made :think
