I'm returning to Hurghada in June with my 16 year old daughter who may want the odd glass of wine or bottle of Sakara. As it is a mainly Muslim, non-alcohol drinking country is there such thing as a minimum age to buy/drink alcohol?
Thanks, Caro
Caro I cant imagine they much care if she is dining with you. They are more likely to ID egyptian youth than any tourists to be honest. Ive not known it to be an issue. Might be different if your daughter is out with a large group of young girls though
Thanks Nexxi!
Although it probably won't be a problem here are the legal age limits for all countries including egypt
What a useful site! Essential information for gap year students not wishing to fall foul of local laws!
