Yes, & I just typed a long answer while you were moving it!
Oh well, here's a summary of what I said:
When are you coming? Vitally important, many places that can be quiet & not too many tourists become crazy from mid July-end of August. The Greeks (& Italians) Take their holidays then, the key date in the Greek calendar is 15th August, a religious & bank holiday. This means your choice will be far wider in May/June or Sept/Oct than it would be mid season. More comfortable temps too, especially for the little one.
Anywhere that is accessible with direct flights & shortish transfers is going to be generally busier as this is where the TO's go, for those very reasons.
As well as when you intend going, is there any other interests or criteria needed apart from a good beach?

Cheers for quick replay.
Well I didn't know about their holidays and booked mine starting around 28th of august until 10th Sept. Unfortunatly I cannot change the date. I choose those dates mainly thinking of the little one, hopeing it will be still worm but not extremly.
is there any other interests or criteria needed apart from a good beach?

We are not very fussy, place has to be quiet more remoted then popular places, smaller hotel or apartment with few restaurants close to the beach. I know I cannot get quiet place close to turrist attractions, so we are just planning to rent a car, so we can discover greece for ourself.

Thanks once again.

think you are going at the perfect time, the sea will be at its warmest and you will miss the worst of the crowds. You'll have a great time, the Greeks love children and they are welcomed pretty much everywhere- when my daughter was 2 we took her to Rhodes for our first holiday abroad with her and she was made such a fuss of and given free ice creams pretty much with every meal.

There are places on lots of islands might fit what you're after. I think you perhaps need to research where you can easily get flights to and look at where airports are situated and consider what radius you want to consider from there. My preference when going to Greece is to hire a car to pick up/drop off at the airport, making for a smoother and quicker transfer to where I'm going.

There are places worthy of consideration on Corfu - if you click on the names down the right-hand side of this map, and explore the rest of the site, you might find something that'll suit (gives you an idea of the beaches too)

Alternatively, you might want to consider Western Crete (which is, though, southerly), flying into Chania - again there are smaller places that might fit your bill. Check out Petra/Anaxos on Lesbos - you'll need a car definitely to get around this island, but it's tourism is pretty low key in general. Google images search will throw up some pictures so you can see if places look like your sort of place.

It's likely to be pretty hot at this time of year though, particularly so the further south you go. A good thing about Greek Islands generally is that it is possible to get aprtments that are situated in quiet areas - not everything's about big hotel complexes.

Thank you for your advice.
I made some reserch myself, and we are pretty much decided for Stegna-Rhodes. It looks like this place would suit us best. I can get pretty cheap flights by ryanair from dublin airport for about 420€ for three of us, then planning to stop in Stegna Mare resort. Any advice or suggestions are welcome.
Corfu and Crete would be nice as well, unfortunately there is no direct flights to those destinations from Dublin.

Hi,not sure what the mare is like but i know Stegna beach isn't known to be very nice and has a lot of stones,it's a hell of a walk down to it from the nearest town of archangelos and in my opinion is nowhere near the nicest part of the island, many may disagree but this is my opinion from living on the Island. Kolymbia is a nice quiet area with a decent beach,Haraki is also nice and has an amazing beach at agathi nearby,or kiotari further south is also nice, all relatively quiet places but with plenty of facilities and good hotels.
