Who is your mobile operator?

Via the Internet its free, just do a search for free texts in google.

I was advised to send picture messages with text (20p) as they cost less to send than a regular text(40p) - I'm with T-mobile.

I'm with O2 and when I started the contract, I opted for the international traveller service which means that for every text I send from Turkey, it is taken from my inclusive minutes at the rate of 4 texts. May be worth asking about?

If you have pay as you go with o2 with the 300 free texts cheapest way to text home is with a picture message - texts still cosy about 49p but when I send a picture text which you can put more words in than a picture message too and it will cost you nothing they seem to come off your free text allowance, i have been doing this for years now and its also quicker than sending a postcard!
