I do not know exactly which plane you will be on. After sacking Aurelia and their old 737-300s they could use anything!
Monarch used to be a respected airline, they are now becoming a cowboy outfit.

ami, the ZB438 BHX-FUE will be operated on a Monarch Airlines A321-200. More information can be found on the What Aircraft? Guide. Have a great flight :)

Is there anyway I can find out the above? My Monarch booking confirmation nor the website gives this information. I find that strange as all airlines I have flown inform me the aircraft type and let me select my seats. Although this the first time I have flown with this type of airline ie budget/ charter.

Any info would be much appreciated.

I heard monarch have sacked aurela. It was all over the news. That's not to say it won't be another wet lease because it probably will but I dot know any other details. Wait for Darren to return from holiday and I'm sure he will know exactly what it will be

Apologies for the delay in replying on here. I too am away on holiday but managed a minute away to take a look at this flight. The BHX-TFS ZB932 on 20 Oct will be on a Monarch A320. You can find more information on the What Aircraft? Guide. Have a great holiday!

Thanks for the reply.

Do you know what flight the aircraft comes into BHX before the ZD932 flight on 20/10?

Also I have had a look at the seat config on my manage booking and it is not that of an A320. In fact it is more like a 737. What is the point n seat selection if the seat plan is incorrect?
Reply
gjb,

Your flight normally comes in from Nice (ZB466/7). Which seat maps are you using? Use the one on Monarchs booking system as that is correct for your flight.

Booked a Monarch flight through Travel Republic. When i asked the operator about API she said it is not required with Monarch, just wondering if anyone knows if this is correct.
Reply
steve06,

API isn't airline dependant, it's destination dependant. It'll be taken at check-in if you can't do it before, assuming it's required for where you're going.

I notice the seating plan for the ZB932 on 20/10 (the A320) is different to the return ZB933 on 27/10. Do you know what aircraft the ZB933 on 27/10 will be?
Thanks

gjb,

ZB933 on 27/10/12 is looking like a Boeing 737-300 (of Aurela)

KJF,

MAN-SSH-MAN (ZB684/5) are operated by Airbus A300B4-605R. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below) including seat plans.

Oh dear. I thought the Aurela 737 has been suspended by Monarch. I think will have to cancel our flights as the wife is refusing to fly that airline. Oh dear. Are you sure about the Aurela?
