darrenjlp,
The seat plan I see for your flight (ZB932/3, 6th October) is a 26 row Boeing 737-300.
Darren
thats confusing why would monarch have a seat plan for a plane with 36 rows on thier website when i go to manage my booking. but they are only putting on a plane that has 26 rows does not make sense, if i pay for picking my seat in row 36 which is £5.99 and i do not get that seat whats the point of paying for choosing my seat?
It there's 36 rows showing on manage your booking, then it's an Airbus A321-200. If it's allowing you to pick up to those rows, go for it as it's the likely aircraft used. Monarch do use an A321-200 on that route mainly, but odd flights are subchartered and I can only pass on the information I see on my screen that's a Boeing 737-300.

Darrenjlp,
Dazbo was correct in saying your flight is due to be operated on an Aurela B733. It may simply be the case that Monarch have been unable to update the seat map for this aircraft, which is one they have leased from Aurela and do not normally use.
If you want to select an aisle/window seat then I would say your best bet is to book the seat you want and still arrive early at the airport to make sure. If there are too many rows on the aircraft map and everyone wants an aisle seat then you can see where problems could arise.
I think it might be an idea to bring this to the attention of Monarch (perhaps on their Facebook page) and get a guarantee that you will get the window/aisle seat you want (even if it isn't on the row you originally select). Sadly it seems that somebody else had a problem with a seat reservation and is at odds with Monarch over getting a refund on the fee they paid for booking their seat. Monarch customer services are normally very accommodating and I'm sure will do their best to help you out. Best of luck!
thanks for your help!
any ideas where the flight will be comming in from before it leaves birmingham?
The flight the aircraft operates before yours is normally BHX-NCE (Nice) -BHX (ZB466/7).

I think I have just read your post on the Monarch facebook page and have picked up on the confusion here. You asked in the forum what flight the ZB932 would be on 6 Oct. I am guessing you meant the 6 Sep. Asyou already know, the flight on 6 Sep was an A321. However this same flight on 6 Oct is on the Aurela B737-300 as was advised.
Anyhoo, hope you are having a great time

That explains it then!

mp7, your oubound flight will be on a Monarch A321-200 and your inbound flight will be operated by Air Explore on a B737-400. You can find out more information about your flight on the What Aircraft? Guide.
Have a great holiday
Just got an email saying that my seat on flight zb565 TFS - MAN on 25th has been changed "due to operational reasons". getting very worried,
You can keep an eye on here in the meantime until you can get an answer from Monarch:

Marcia, the most usual reason for a change of seat is a change of aircraft. I don't know what aircraft this flight was previously on but I can tell you it will now be on an A330-200. There is absolutely no need to worry. This aircraft affords more space than most, has in-flight entertainment and is quite spacious. It in fact it regularly operates flights to Orlando. You can find out more information on the What Aircraft? Guide.
Just as a side note, I can tell you this aircarft is due to position from LGW to MAN the day before and has no flights in between. I wouldn't anticipate any problems. Hopefully, all should be well on your way home.
Have a nice flight
