Hi

I'm going to Antalya on 13th September 2009 on MON3402/3403, could anyone tell me which terminal Monarch use in Antalya (1 or 2) as I was looking to book an airport lounge.

Also, which aircraft will be used, think it should be A330.....?

Cheers

Welcome to the forum Mr V,

Monarch fly into Terminal 2 at Antalya airport, and yes they operate an A332 on the MON3402/3 LGW/AYT. You can find out more information about this on the What Aircraft Guide. Have a lovely holiday! :)

Hi Partyboy!

Thanks very much for your speedy reply! I have booked and paid for an extra legroom seat. Are these just at emergency exits on this aircraft or in other locations too? Is a rather large a/c for this route so am hoping I don't regret booking extra legroom! (ie if it's only half full!!) Oh well you take your chances I guess! Thanks again for your help...

Mitziecat,
Some of the extra leg room seats are located near the front of the cabin or just after the entrance doors for passengers not the emergency ones. Then you normally have the emergency exit ones. I think they have to accommodate some so children can sit in them or so I was told by a friend of mine.
I know Thomson Airways and Thomas Cook don't allow you to move to a extra legroom seat if there empty you still have to pay the premium but im sure they would let you hop into another seat if it was free.

Thanks x

ashleybrown,

Please quote your flight numbers if you have them. EDI-REU-EDI (MON5876/7) are operated by an Airbus A321-200. Refer to our What Aircraft? guide for further information.

Mitziecat,

Details of where extra legroom seats are located on Monarch aircraft can be found here.

Rows 9 and 31 are exit rows and row 1 is just behind the cabin wall which is next to the front exit. Infants, children and people with reducedmobility are unable to sit at the exit rows, however are able to sit at row 1. Some people on this aircraft prefer to sit at the exit rows as there is no cabin wall in front and it is possible to stretch your legs further.

The configuration of the cabin is 3-3-3. I would recommend sitting at one of the window rows. Although cabin crew do make P.A.'s to advise passengers not to cross from one aisle to the other at exit rows it does sometimes happen. Of course, you will also be able to look out of the window better.

Row 9 is the entrance and exit point so you would be quicker on and off the aircraft here. Row 31 A and J are allocated as crew seats. If you are sat next to either of these seats (i.e. 31 B & C or 31 G & H) then you would have a member of cabin crew sat next to you for take off and landing but would have nobody sitting next to you for the rest of the flight. Although you would not be able to use this seat you would have a little more space around you for the rest of the flight.

I hope this helps make your travel plans easier. If you have any more questions then please do not hesitate to ask :D

ad00am,
As Glower mentioned if you can provide some flight numbers we can check the exact aircraft. A lot of the flights to ACE are operated on a 757-200 with a few operated on the other 2 aircraft however I am unsure if the A300 operates a flight down to ACE.

Evening,
Is anybody able to tell me what type of audio sockets are on Monarch Scheduled's A321's? (I.e. Are they two pin or one pin?). Just need to know whether I should take my adaptor with me (as I prefer my own headphones).

papa_echo,

As Far As I Can Remember They Are 2 Pin, So It Is Probably Wise To Take Your Adaptor
