Try this company based in Istanbul but brit staff there who are good
I used DHL and they were excellent.
Their office is behind the lighthouse pub on the marina. The guy in there, Kaan, speaks perfect English and is very helpful
Hi Nutmeg, Cheers i will go tomorrow and see him. Its been a nightmare this week with Bayram and that. I have contacted a few removals back in Uk they are also getting back to me this week. Hopefully something will get sorted Soon.
Hope you don't mind me being nosey but why are you moving back. Reason I ask is there are obviously lots of people looking to move to Turkey who need to know the pitfalls as well as the positives,
have you had any luck yet?
Hi Nutmeg, I got one of my Turkish friends to telephone them and what i have is to big of quantity. But they reckoned to send what i have got without even coming to look at it was in the excess of $10,000 my friend polietly told them where to go. I have had a few quotes from other companies between £1600 & £1900 so that not to bad. Will let you know what is happening as i have them coming out nxt week to measure up and that.
