We normally go to Majorca but me and my husband are going to Gran Canaria this month for my 40th birthday (on our own without the Kids)
Could anyone let me know if this Island is like Majorca in the fact that different resorts are visited by different nationalities, so you would get some mainly English resorts some German resorts and so on, or is there a mix in all the different resorts?
Also which would be the best all-round resort to go to?
We are going to hire a car so is the driving ok over there?
Also any help on a good hotel would be appreciated we don't want a posh one just one that has some good evening entertainment (if we decided to stay in)
One that serves a good breakfast as we will probably eat out most of the time.
I would be so grateful if anyone could give us some advice on these matters as with never going before we don't know what to expect.
